Excellent!

  1. Completely knicked off the wife by making a snide comment
All in all, I'm still standing. A good day I suppose.
Hey Mud, me and your wife need to have a little chit chat :D You don't need chores you need a handyman. Better take that beer in the lawn chair;) I would hire you to do some chores, but it doesn't sound like you are very good at it:pervy:

@gofishtx I do have my days, usually on my own stuff. Imagine if I had stayed inside, what I would have destroyed.
Saying this, I must defend my recent actions, here are a few things of many I will share that I didn't tear up lol

This little bridge was laying flat wind blown:

I did however get poison ivy rather nasty from it

This is a 1919 Willys Overland, a bolt broke off of the starter and fell into the transmission, ended up pulling the entire drive train out, painting and resealing everything, then rewired it all.

Lots more pics, just not in there yet. When finished, won the AAA car show.
Just a few permanent fleshy scars

These stone stairs were completely dangerous, removed each set one by one and reset:

Yes, this project left me with a couple interesting 'scars'

Here is an old Don Pablos building I did a bunch of stucco repairs on; that's my youngest boy before hitting Kent State this past summer:
Stucco - Google Drive

Just remodeled a house built in 1920 inside, here is the end result:
There are start to finish images, just not put them in there yet.
Remodel-3206 - Google Drive
Just mental scars on this one lol

So, redemption on others stuffs, but for me, not so much lol

What will YOU be putting on top of the Smoant Charon 218 TS when YOU win? (Positive thinking right?)

As a recent squonking convert it will be tough no matter what I decide, but most likely I will be using the Pulse 22 rda with the solid pin or the ‘ol trusty Griffin 25 Plus rta.

Edit: I forgot I have an Avocado 24, that would probably be closest to squonking I suppose. I didn’t have these (first world) “problems” two weeks ago before the contest was announced!

I would like to top it with a nice top airflow RTA from Smoant. If they build it I will buy it and in colors that match the entire Charon series. But since they don't have one yet, I am hoping for a Blue Charon that I will top with my new Blue Zeus, or any color that I will top with my OBS RTAs and RDTA or my Battlestar or Ijoy Combo RDTAs as I have several that can match.

Say around 30 - 45 minutes from now this thread is plastered with peoples from all around the world, eye's wide, some sweaty palms, some will go pee before settling in, many with a hot coffee in hand, all in hopes of getting their hands on the Smoant Touch screen. :thumb:

You have restored womankind's faith that mankind can indeed fix anything we can throw their way.

:whew: I was terribly worried for a minute thinking perhaps my own husband might not be able to do chores if they seemed difficult..

I am sure mankind the world over thanks you for that restoration of faith! :D

We might be hairy, loud, messy and stinky, a bit ornery at times, however we are out here, watching over all, waiting standing tall for the opportunity to serve.

My official motto: Sometimes, You've got to break it to fix it.

LOL, there are certain things one just doesn't want one's spouse to know. It's so good I'm not alone in this, :D

For me, it's most things handy or heavy, even though I'm actually kinda strong for my size (thank you yoga) and also, you can figure out how to do anything with enough research and trial and error. My mom was always wanting to know how on earth I found such "handy" dudes, and I was like, "Mom.... you need to act like you don't know what you are doing, and LET them do it, and then praise them steadily... anyone can figure out ANYTHING even if they're quite knowledgeable already, but the key is to LET them do it."

Points to the husband for not allowing me to find out what a good cook he was until we were married for some crazy amount of time, like five years. LOL, we began cohabitating after he was a 42 year old BATCHELOR, and he had a FULL kitchen. I was like, "I guess this is gagetitis," and just began using the heck out of the implements and breadmaker and... yeah. It so WASN'T. I have to admit, I gave him a high five at his skills in misdirection, LOL.

After all this time, though, we now share a lot of chores, and rotate them. I actually like yardwork, used to do it as a teenager with my dad. When we sold the house back east, things were so busy I had to give in and grab all the yard implements and the husband was scared actually and tried to stop me, but Most Surprised on his return from somewhere (I think he was most impressed with my trestling the rose bushes into heart shapes and stuff.... Yard work is really fun. :)
