Well, I'm a-hoping our giant bonfire will attract trick-or-treaters, the ONLY thing I miss about my last house was the fact that it was the "go to" location for trick-or-treaters in my area. Seriously, they'd all park right outside the development and flock! It was great, I usually went through 60--80 worth of candy each year, but it was really fun. We never get any here (too much acreage).
My favorite year was the year my kiddo decided to stop trick-or-treating, he dole out the candy, with the words, "Vote Gary Johnson" to the bemused kiddos (and sometimes parents), I also sold a car that way, one year.
I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!
It's like my favorite holiday of all time. Probably because I have consistently pleasant memories, unlike Thanksgiving and Christmas, which include memories of flying turkeys (I was NOT the one throwing them) and whatnot. I LOVE dressing up, I LOVE all the preparations, I'm just still here because I'm exhausted today, I think most of my prep is gonna have to be in the PM. But, the house is clean(er) so that's good.

Happy Halloween to you Anna.
We don't get trick or treaters here, houses too few and way too far between for that sort of thing but as with all holidays I baked for the people who work for my husband.
I made decorated sugar cookies and cupcakes. I had been planning on making truffles too but didn't manage it. But, they all got pure sugar from me.. Hahaha.
I finished up the cupcakes this morning, been up since 3am to finish up and tasted the frosting I made.. oh Lord no one should EVER taste frosting that early in the morning.. I swear I still have the taste in my mouth, I can't taste anything but sugar now. lol
But, 80 cupcakes and 80 cookies all finished and shipped off to work with hubby!
As a beside, my kitchen looks like a disaster area!
Sorry, I have to work all this week, plus I ran out of things to say and I ran out of steam to say them. Plus as mentioned, everyone is still waiting for all of the winners to be announced...

Is the TS 218s available for sale yet? All I can find is the 218W. Is the S model really any better than the W model? I've kind of given up on winning one, so I'm getting the itch to buy something. Congratulations to all the winners. (I'm not bitter at all)(seriously)

That would explain why I couldn't find a 218s online to buy. I thought it was curious that they would make a W model before an S model. I'm also having way too many "Senior moments." And this one I get to share with so many people. I always like to give people a chuckle. Thank you for the information, I have to go take my meds now.

We had 3 before the rain drove them all off, I turned off the porch light and kept all the candy for myself
