Hi all, this has probably been asked 100th of times and tbh I haven't looked for any answers as I'm trying to bump up my newbie posts to 5,
my question is,
can some one explain what gauges mean and what the difference Is?
heat, resistance, ohm resistance.
I'm not a technician so the law thing also confuses me slightly.
I.e if I'm using 24 g wire wrapping on a 2 mm bit, what differences will 4 turns give to 10 wraps

I'm running a aspire cf vv 1300mah
and a evod mt3 cart.

Sorry if it a bit long winded

thanks guys

If you go to my coil calculator and click the small "Converter" tab right above the results on the right, you can convert between AWG and millimeters, inches and what have you.

If you go back to the "Results" tab, and play with the input values in the calculator, it will show you what effects your changes have to the number of wraps, heat flux and other values.

I'm old fashioned, even though there are wonderful apps for my phone, I like charts.

Good luck to you. Lots of satisfaction in doing something yourself (and it works)
