Wire help needed (for passthrough)...

I'd like to find a really flexible wire to use for a 3.7v passthrough mod. Thinner the better. It wont be very long - about 2.5 feet. Is it possible to use the kind of 1mm wire that comes on headphones (that would be perfect)? I read that silicone coated wire is very flexible - but I'm not sure which type I can use.

Is 20 or 22 Gauge wire not flexible enough? If you want to go really thin, telephone cord wire works, though it wears quickly in my experience.

20 or 22 Gauge is fine. It's just that the super flexibility of the headphone wire is perfect. I'd like to know if it is OK to run 3.7v through this shielded stuff. I know it is meant for audio - but if I run the current through the core and shielding would that be fine?

I use Audio cables from a RCA Left or Right channel line on my Transfomer mod and the work great no problems. You will be fine, hope this helps.

Ohhhh ryhming.... No problem Slopes, since duby and I are no dopes. This should work we are fule of hopes, whether it fries or dies at least you gave it a try. Hows that?

My brain is to tired to rhyme, but I'll try just this one time. I just wanted to make a point. Thin wire could break at the soldier joint. So take care, and be gentle, or the wire may tear.
