Wire mesh wick help

Does anyone know how to make a good wick with wire mesh? Any info would be appreciated

That is one wicking material I have not yet tried as I have stayed away from genesis style atty's. Hopefully someone will chime in with some tips. Have you tried looking on YouTube?

Thank you, I have checked out youtube but was hoping maybe someone with experience might chime in with what has or hasnt worked for them, im plenty happy with organic cotton but curiosity has gotten the better of me and I have a genesis style atty, a kraken to be specific, so I figured I would try mesh.

Maybe there's a magic spell that could help you build this wick, or at least make it bigger.

I use stainless steel wicks all the time. I find the best way is to use as small a piece as possible anr roll it over a small drill bit. Make sure that it remains a tube and does not become pinched. I also make sure they are no more than 2mm higher than my coil. Another thing I do is wrap a very thin layer of Japanese cotton around the top of the wick where it would touch the coil. By using the cotton I never have to heat my stainless steel mesh and never get hot spots. Hope this helps.

Best place for the mesh screen was in the bottom of my pipe( that small one)..
