I find the thinner rope works better in my Cobra. I have it wrapped in a thin layer of mesh. I make my cable touch the bottom of the tank so I don't worry about it moving around. Once the coil is wrapped and secured the rope is very stable. For the first time ever I am able to vape the cobra with all the fill hole screws in.

I would definitely get a shock in the button on my #19, before I added a piece of non-resistance wire to the spring that touches the side of the switch housing. The fix also resolved my misfires in it.
I'm about to do that exact thing... just can't get the damn button apart. China glued the hell out of mine. Soaked it in iso alcohol for an hour or two and still didn't work. I'm letting my hands and finger rest today, then I'm trying again tonight.

Thats exactly what it was like ! Would try and hit it and would feel the shock .
Has anyone tried using rope wick in IGO L or Smok RDA? If so can you post pic of set up .Im wanting to try a RDA instead of my RSST for my DIY juice mixes but dont want to have to invest in more stuff to wick one of these two RDAs.

well that didnt work for more than a day, perhaps I put to much cheesecloth around the wire... Anyway going back to using standard wire instead of wire and cotton for a bit.

I just watched the JC vid and just had to add a comment here. The only time I get "gurgling" from my genis like what he showed in the vid is if there is enough juice or condensation in the top cap of the device to actually cover the air hole. If the device is turned so the wick is on the bottom then the hole is pointed down and any condensation in the top cap can very easily puddle over the air hole causing this effect. I found it happens quite often to me with my aga-t setups and I have to take the cap off and wipe out the cap. As a benefit to the cable you often don't have to make sure the wick is turned to the bottom to get a good vape so this effect is greatly reduced.
Really though from my experience the only way it can gurgle regardless of your wick material or anything else even is if there is moisture covering your air intake. The wick itself doesn't make it gurgle. It gave me a chuckle

i was just scanning what viable 316 ss wicks were up for buy on McMaster-Carr, and i see "non-conductive"
I do not know if there's any negative effects from heating up bronze over and over and over, or the safety of vaping liquid off of heated bronze.

i have a wicking issue with my AGA-t that i think will be solved with SS rope...but i'm unsure what to order? i'd be wrapping with 30 awg.

I got 25' of it from amazon. But there is a thin thread running down the center so you have to unravel it and take that out. I have an RSST with a piece in it that's been in there for a month. Really all ya gotta do is rinse it off and reuse it. I think 25' will last me forever. I got 7x7 3/32. If I can find the link I will PM it to you.

imo, one shouldn't make a video on something until that person knows exactly how to use said product. for one he includes airstone and proper vaping ceramics together as the same product. air stones or bubble stones don't perform like the porous ceramics that are specifically engineered for vaping, they just are not as good. also if you read the note at the top it says "the break in time for the wick was long" this tells me that his coil was loose. a proper coil done on ceramic should be really tight, if its wrapped like a ss mesh wick it just wont produce the vapor and flavor. also he is this extreme vaporer and does a coil at 1.8Ω. hey everyone is entitled to their opinions but when someone gives their opinions to a botched up set-up it looks really bad to those who actually know.
