This my have been brought up by now but I don't wanna read the whole thread so. Is there anything I can do to get more vapor from ss cable. I'm not having hot spot or leg issues just heating problems. What can I do if anything. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Use a mech at .6 too 1.0 ohms.

I am really liking the rope wick. On my RSST it wicks great. I can even leave the fill plug in so I don't have to worry about it leaking.

However on AGA-T2 it is not working as well. The first pull is great and after that it dries out more and more till i let it sit. I do tend to chain vape so that is not helping. I have tried 1/16 and also stuffed a 3/32 in wick in it like i have in the RSST and they both do the same thing. This with a thin mesh wrap at the coil on them and rewaped till I ran out of 28g and 30g wire. I have more supplies coming and also ordered some 316 SS rope from McMaster Car. I am going to try pulling the middle wire out of the rope and see what that does for it. Hopfully it will work like a straw and pull juice to the top of the wick keeping it well supplied.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I may have missed this, but has anyone tried an ekowool sheath over the ss rope?

I have tried it with both ecko and the xs-316 sheath over 3/32 rope in the rsst. Both really good if I had to give the nod it would be to the xs. But both really good. No hot spots with either to work out no slight metallic taste it took me more time cutting the rope then wrapping the coil. 28awg three wraps .7 ohms 2 min to do and done.

Have the same issue with the aga. I have to tilt slightly then it wicks like a mad man and floods.

Looks like ill try it out then, you can dry burn it too a few times before re-wrapping the coil.

Yeah withstand a lot of heat.. I torch it while working with it.. Firms up for a while.. Then gets loose wit it Hahah

Hard part is fitting the ss cable inside Hahah.. 3/32 inside 2mm ekowool .. The 3mm was too big

Made a U-wick, was bored and still had a lot of extra 3/32' 7x7.

Wrapped some cotton for a more moistened and flavorful vape.

Using it for a while now, works perfect for lung-hittin chain vapers who use 90%vg

Very cool. Looks like a lot of passion went into that set up. Nice work. How's the vape?

The Vape is awesome, but it over wicks if you vape it not completely straight vertically. Its awesome for high VG juice. I've also noticed that there's less of a metallic taste.

It will leak into ur pocket easily. Lining the deck with some extra wick works to prevent that.

My best Vape experience with a Genny.

I'm rocking xs-316 over my 3/32nd for all of my rsst's and love it! I've got 4 of them and they work amazing all the time. I tried using ss mesh over the top instead of the xs-316 and it worked well, but not even close to the nextel wrap.

Cable is strange at times though. I tried it in my Nobel 1 hybrid and it just didn't do it for me... I tried it with mesh on the top, and also the nextel (xs-316). I ended up just throwing some #500 mesh on a super tight roll in it and it Vapes amazing. First time I tried #500 mesh, the highest I had before that is #400.

I'm kinda stumped at why the cable didn't perform as well as I hoped on the hybrid... but for my rsst's there's nothing better. I can literally chain vape the hell out of them. I'd pass out from nic overload before I'd even get a dry hit. And I'm vaping at 0.6-0.9ohms.

Very nice setup!

How do you keep the wick in the top cap to stay up there? Is the wire we see in the picture playing a role? Some sort of tension clip maybe?

Thanks!

I have the same issue in my AGA. Rope does not wick as well as my RSST. Then if I tilt slightly it over wicks I gave up trying to figure out why I just figure it has some to do with the vacuum that is caused by the shape of the tank and top cap. LoL don't know if it makes any sense but it was the only thing that sound reasonable to me since I have seen three others saying the same thing great in RSST ok but not great in the AGA's.
