Same here, but I rely on Steam Engine to verify coil designs from time to time. I agree that what's good for one tank may not be right for another. I tend to play around with coils to find the right diameter, # turns, wire gauge, ramp time, and distance over the air port until I feel like I've hit the sweet spot.

That's probably why i keep coming back to the old faithful Kayfun V2. :) Too many tanks try to be everything to everyone and don't really work well through the range of airflow and juice atomization at a given power level.
Yes!

You mentioned "juice" - and I an learning that it's yet another factor.

I learned that the different flavor constituents atomize at different temperatures.

For example, menthol appears to atomize at a relatively low temperature. So if menthol is mixed with something that needs more heat (like tobacco flavor) - a low temperature will cause one to taste relatively more menthol than tobacco. As one goes higher, then the tobacco flavor starts to kick in.

This I think is why TC "curving" might be useful. By varying the temp throughout the inhale, various flavors can be drawn out at different times (during inhale).

But I am just guessing. My mod doesn't curve. So I can't play with the concept.

That's why Steam Engine is a valuable tool. It evaluates your build and provides heat flux info to predict whether your build will be warm, cold, or just right with the parameters you select.
