Can some one tell me if this wire will work, Found it in my shed wasn't sure figured I would post.

If you're talking about winding a coil with it...absolutely NOT, it's copper and would not have any resistance. For a coil you would need to use kanthral or nicochrome wire which has a higher resistance than copper.
I'm sorry I should have put more info, very sorry. No I was wondering if I could use it for building a new box mod I have done it before with stranded 16g wire but wanted to try solid and found this.
Magnet wire is for making motors and generator windings right so it does have a thin insulator on it. 14ga would carry a nice current yeah?
OK, that makes more sense, but it would be still no, just not as frighteningly so...
Magnet wire insulation is going to be more fragile and if you're changing batteries and nick a wire, creating a short would be too easy for my peace of mind. Same with using solid wire, the stranded is stranded for reliability, ruggedness. Solid wire could create a new point of failure if it's anywhere that it would have any sot of mechanical movement or stress.
