I haven't gone to Bingo in over a year and I have been wanting to go lately but couldn't get over my self consciousness of vaping in a crowded place by myself.. Unless hubby is with me then he usually just steals my gear and starts puffing away just to show off lol

Plus I start going in a panic,.. what if my batteries go dead or run out of juice ,8-o I am down to just one morning smoke now and sooo don't want to mess it up just because my batteries went dead.. and I know myself I smoke like a chiminey at Bingo.

I'm still gonna sit on the smoking side of the hall which makes it a little easier, but it's the looks I will get when I bring out my KGO adorned with my awesome stardust lol

Boy I do need to get out of the house more often..

It will be fine!!! If you get funny looks just tell them what it is. I bet you will get a million questions. And some unwanted responses but that just means they don't understand it, or they have been brainwashed by those people.....LOL

Sorry you didn't win Mojo. Also sorry no one asked you about it. I love it when people ask me. I especially love it when they ask me if it "works" meaning does it help people to quit smoking, and I tell them yep, I haven't had a cigarette since September!

Congrats on being down to just one cigarette, that's fantastic!!!!!

I think it's because we're too buzy trying to grab our spot in the hall, guard our cards as if someone are gonna steal them and of course setup all our good luck charms (hubby's displays his punk hair gremelin figurine at bingo..lol)

I didn't mind no one asking, I would of probably turn as red as a tomatoe on the first question.. lol

Any bingo updates? When I was stationed at Barksdale AFB I helped out some Friday nights at a bingo hall the AF Sergeants Association ran, and wow was it crazy busy!!! They not only did Bingo, but had these scratch tickets for prizes as well, and I have absolutely no idea how anyone could keep up with everything that was going on. Maybe that's why people didn't ask? Most people I saw were in the zone, with their area set up with good luck items, buying tickets, trying to keep up with bingo, they were serious about it. I was a smoker at the time, so I was one of the one's working in the smoker's section, and I'll tell you it was the busiest area by far...sheer madness! There's no way I could keep up with everything going on around me.

I was born in Shreveport!!! How long were you there and when?

DH and I were stationed there for 18 months...we left in March of last year to move here to Eglin afb. Tons and tons of Air Force retirees there around Shreveport and Bossier.

Originally from a tiny town called Okemah, then was stationed at Tinker AFB for about a year and lived in Bricktown, have lots of family around Okmulgee. Usually make it home to Okemah a couple of times a year to see my parents.
