Originally from a tiny town called Okemah, then was stationed at Tinker AFB for about a year and lived in Bricktown, have lots of family around Okmulgee. Usually make it home to Okemah a couple of times a year to see my parents.

I know where that is, drive by there on the way to AR. Have you been to bricktown lately they say it's pretty nice now. I am in Enid.......aka.....flatland....LOL

I know Enid! Lol! Or I should say I used to once upon a time. Been gone quite awhile though! DH and I haven't been to Bricktown in probably 8 years, we hear they finished it after we left, and is quite the hotspot now. When we were there they were just a couple of years into revitalizing it. I think they had Toby Keith's bar open, and they had the ball field open while we were there, but most things were still in the planning stages........would love to go back and see it now that it's finished.

Well Enid hasn't changed a bit....LOL

Believe it or not.....I have not been to brick town. DH isn't a crowd person so it's hard to get him to go places like that. I can't seem to tie my daughter down long enough to get her to go.
