So after vaping for about 14 months with only having about 2 packs of cigarettes during that time, for whatever reason I began smoking full time again. Right back to a pack a day (gross, I know...). Today is day 1, back to vaping only. So far, so good, but I'm only half way through my work day. Bought some new gear which should be arriving tomorrow - a Tobeco DNA 30 mod, another Nautilus with the metal sleeve and a couple of fresh 18650s. Plan on stocking up on some ITC Vapes juice on Friday as well, I hear their Black Friday deals are great (prices are already amazing without being on sale to be honest).

Anyways, wish me luck!

Best of luck to you. I quit last year with eGo twists and 24mg juice that I should have just snorted I was going through it so much. I'm now 10 days into my 2nd quit and I'm doing RBAs, drippers and some mods. :) I'm also using only 2-6mg juice and I'm doing awesome. It really is all about the gear although the mindset sure has a lot to do with it too. :)

I had to do it a 2nd time myself. If you start getting cravings, consider WTA rather than cigarettes -- it gives you the same alkaloids as cigarettes, without all the poisons and having to go thru quitting again. And it really works.

Good luck! Hang tough! :thumb:

I have been 400 some odd days without an analog after having smoked for 30 years with many different tries to quit I started my vape journey with a SVD and a protank2 I now have so many mods and RDA atty's I vape 10/90VG @ 4mg nicotine and used to be a 3 pack a day camel smoker. If I can do it so can you I made a decision not to vape anything tobacco flavored I wanted the tobacco to become repulsive tasting to me and 2 weeks into my journey I dropped my mod breaking my tank I had a half pack of smokes in my truck, I was just having a really stressful day and when that broke it sealed the deal, I pulled out a camel lit up took a long hanking drag and what happened next was truly a first besides nearly coughing to my death I tossed it out the window opened the door of my truck and threw up so violently that if someone had seen me they would of accused me of getting drunk on the job it was so repulsive it literally caused me to become sick. I only vape fruit and dessert type flavors and it worked I can't stomach tobacco at all we have an enclosed porch that my wife smokes in and she left a camel burn in the ashtray like 3 months into my quit she got up to answer the phone and left it there so out of curiosity I wanted to see if I was truly over cigs I took a long drag and yup had to run outside just as before I was throwing up and the funny thing about it is I still have these urges where I want a cig as I actually enjoyed smoking but I don't like heaving my stomach so I just tell myself "you get better clouds from your Tobh dummy and it tastes better duh" so I suggest those trying to quit find a dessert flavor you love and stay away from tobacco flavors and you will find it easier to stay on the vape. We have an advantage that smokers don't we vape big clouds and enjoy the taste of our favorite drinks and snacks at the same time try that with an RjReynolds product bet you can't without gaining 100 pounds LOL! Good luck and welcome back to the family because where else do you get this much support;)

Deathbox, congrats on your second "Day 1" :)

Like so many other things, cigarettes are an ADDICTION. Sometimes it's "get me through this day", or "get me through this minute". Once I found the right gear (and told myself that I'd spent enough on stuff, so I shouldn't be spending any more on cigarettes) I was able to "work the program". I'd started with cigalikes about 4 years ago. Some stops and starts over the past few years. I'm almost 9 months smoke-free this time around. I think I've been lucky enough to get through my "point of no return". You'll know when *YOU* are there.

We're here for ya, if you need any moral support!

Will ITC "definitely have" a "sale" or with the low-low prices is it asking too much? Well........... I guess I will ask!

It's embarrassing to ask about a Black Friday / Black Monday "Sale" when prices are SO reasonable, however, old geezers on Social Insecurity (a WHOPPING 1.5% increase in 2015 I believe) gotta stretch that dough. So, I respectfully ask, "Are Ya' Gonna?". Now I'll hush and not whine again today! :) Old Senile Donnie to the corner!

And "Deathbox Mnemic" .... you hang tough - it is ONE YEAR TODAY I started vaping and in spite of a few "I gotta have a smoke" days I made it; and am SO glad I did!

Senile Old Man Donnie WISHING YOU THE BEST!

Hey well done Don. One year vapaversary - woohoo! That's a brilliant achievement. I've a fair bit to go before I get there but for the first time I know I will do it.

Happy vaping. :)
