Wismec 75w TC

Regarding the firmware- I just received my Presa 75w TC and doing the 20 clicks thing, it shows "Version 3.00". But my display does not look like the one shown immediately below- it's the same display that is shown for the Presa 100wTC mod (bottommost image below). Wondering what gives. I have M1, M2 and M3 presets (default settings of 120 on all three), but the SS mode does not indicate 316L. And the wattage will not adjust down- only up. Going by the VTC Mini, I'd say there has to be another software version for the Presa 75w, right? And if so, how does it differ from what I have now?

It sounds like you have the latest firmware. V3.00 works just as you describe your mod. The screen should look like the one on the right in the image below. I've been hoping for a newer update for a while. I really like the Presa firmware but the font could be better and it would be great to adjust the watts up and down in TC mode. Other than those two wishes I've never has a single problem with the Presa. Been using it daily since Christmas and it still looks like it's brand new.

Thank you! For some reason, I had convinced myself the screen on the left of your post was the newer firmware.

I'm betting there will be an update to allow wattage to go up or down- just like they did with the VTC Mini. Here's hoping, anyway...

just got one, lock button is junk broke within a few hours now mods useless because it blind fires in my pocket. Theres a bunch of reports on this needs a V2 stay away unless u get it somewhere u can get your money back or credit

Not saying that it's not a problem that the locking switch broke, but you could simply switch the mod off before you put it in your pocket. Five clicks of the fire button is all it takes.

I'm not contesting that at all. What I'm saying is that if the locking switch is broken you can switch off the mod when putting it in your pocket. That way it won't fire even if it's unlocked.

Well, it certainly is now. Though I thought it should have had Presa in the title even back last fall.

But I also don't think Wismec should use "Reuleaux" for that new 75w mod.
"Reuleaux" has a specific shape connotation, it loses that when used as the name for a "line" of mods if they don't all share that shape.

If I didn't think it would brick this mod, I'd try updating the Presa 75 w/the Evic VTC Mini firmware. The 75 has at least had an update, but it still needs the wattage scrolling down added. Same thing w/the Presa 100.
