Tomorrow will be 5 weeks and my 2 and a half packs of pall malls are still sitting on the shelf in the kitchen where I left them that day. I keep forgetting to grab them and give them to this homeless guy I always see at the freeway offramp into town. So....I have a bit of experience now and have found out a few things..the hard way.
1. Be really really careful when you put drops into your atty. I was getting in a hurry at times and would perhaps "overfill" the atty by a few drops. One night I got a mouth full of juice and my heart was beating like a 1000 bpm. I thought I was going to have a stroke that night. It lasted about 2 hours and the rest of my night was toss and turn, not much sleep. I thought it was over, my life that is. Respect this nicotine juice because if you abuse this stuff it can really hurt you bad. It states on the bottles "use extreme caution". Don't forget what it is your vaping. I remove my cover and make sure all parts are clean and dry now before re-adding juice and any vaping. I also use a max of 3 drops into my atty. I try and get it centered as best as possible and as close to the coil before dispensing.
2. I have found that 70% Isoprople alchohol works great for cleaning attys. In a small glass soak for about 5 minutes, then drain them a few times until it streams out and then tap out excess and let dry about 4 hours. In the meantime I'm vaping the other pen/batt/atty. Same goes with the mouth piece. If you get this stuff in your mouth you will be sorry. Trust me. Also if you oops and get this on your skin, stop what your doing and go wash the spot off. 24 mg nicotine juice is meant for vaping/inhaling not taking internally like eating, chewing, etc The strongest nic gum is 4mg, and thats for internal use. if you take 24mg (which my juices are) internally such as getting a gulp in your mouth, plan on a racing heart for a few hours and pray that much will be the worst of it.

Other than that I love these e-cigs and am huffing and vaping with my wife who has also quit cigarettes. I have smoked hard for 40 plus years and have never quit without having extreme withdrawals, mind trauma/nightmares, etc. and Chantix couldn't touch these with a ten foot pole. Anything in excess can hurt you and is not good, so just remember that much and respect these e-juices.

When I get a little juice in my mouth I rinse and spit it out quickly. You are right and I hope people read this and take it seriously. Also when doing any DIY juice making wear gloves when handling the nicotine!! If it spills on your clothes it will be sitting on your skin, so wear an apron too! Don't use around kids or pets, either.

Everything is fine but...
¿why do you wanna kill the homeless guy?

Im Just kidding man, i realize and appreciate your good intention.

Congrats on staying off the stinkers, and i agree with you, we must be carefull with our juices. About 2 weeks ago I accidentally got some 24mg USAMix on my forearm, got a racing heart and a little light headed hehe.

Just a heads up...RINSE your atty after the rubbing alcohol bath. Rubbing alcohol can and/or will cause liver damage/failure according to my doctor who also vapes. She said to be sure to rinse them with clean water so no residue is left. It takes overnight for them to dry but worth it for safety reasons.

As for juice, been there, done that. I keep some paper towels on my desk where I vape the most. If I get juice-in-da-mouth, I spit it in a paper towel. If you find yourself chainvaping, step your nicotine level down on your next order(s). You won't notice withdrawal if it's within 6mg difference but it allows you to go a little crazier vaping without the side effects.

You just made me appreciate my eGo-C a lot more. One reason I gave it up 3 years ago was the spitting attys.
I almost didn't give it another change yet when all I saw were basically the same thing that was around back then.

I always spit and rinsed when I got a mouthful. I also didn't ever use 24mg for long. Right now I'm quitting with 11mg. If I'm having a nic-fit I just vape more. It gets the job done and over-vaping doesn't cause nicotine OD so fast you don't notice it until it's too late and you have a headache to sleep off.

How each person reacts to nicotine is VERY different :p I used to smoke one and a half pack a day since age 14....But when I quit and started vaping....I was surprised to find that ANYTHING over 12mg, makes my pulse race and gives me a splitting headache :vapor:
If I want to chain-vape I can only do 6-8mg without adverse effects.
Brain chemestry is a complicated and highly individual thing i guess....so better safe than sorry must be the way to go:)
I wonder if bodyweight/mass has the same effect in this, as it has regarding how much alcohol a person can tolerate ??

Ego-fan: me, too. I think one factor is wattage; more watts means more juice being vaporized per puff means more nicotine per puff.

We could warn people who are moving from low-wattage beginner setups to better rigs that they might want to start with low-nic juices for that reason. I sure would have appreciated it myself.

If I vape too much, I get a slight headache that goes away quickly after stopping.

If I vape too much late at night, I can't sleep. No jitters or anything, just normal awake. It seems to take a few hours to wear off. I have to be careful of not chain vaping right up until bed time or I'll be staring at the alarm clock at 3:00am or beyond

Good rule of thumb to follow with Iso alcohol. Don't use it on anything that will be used internally in any form.
As was mentioned previously it's highly toxic.

Vodka or Everclear (Everclear is actually considerd an industrial solvent in some states (WA)) while possibly not the healthiest thing to imbibe are at least meant for human consumption.

Ain't that the truth.

I hear people taking about a nicotine buzz from vaping; the last time I had a buzz worthy of the term was when I was smoking for the very first time (very nice buzz for 5 minutes, then I was sick to my stomach for hours).

Nothing since. I've vaped everything from 6 to 36ml—they're all the same to me. Except for insomnia problems, something that plagued me early on, and perplexed me. I used to smoke in bed while reading a book, right up to the moment I fell asleep.

That's me, except no insomnia from it. I wake up wanting nicotine. Or sometimes I guess I don't wake up. I reached for my PV the other night and couldn't find it, it was laying on my chest.
