Ok I got a Riva few days ago and I got some juice from someone here on ecf I was stoked and ready for a good vape. The vapor production was horrible they atties produce hardly any vapor at all my xhale o2 produces more vapor than these atties do the battery gets hot at the ring band and the atomizers get burning hot so what am I doing wrong? I drip a few drops in and only get not even a mouthful of vapor. the brands are Viking Vapor and FSUSA both PG my 801 vapes it ok and my xhale super mini does too so what should I do I have no money for yet another purchase for a new atty.

It could be you flooded the atomizer in your exuberance. Usually with a new attie, that would be the first thing to check, especially if it's getting hot and producing nothing. Take it off, blow it out well into a paper towel (I do it from both ends, although everyone seems to have a different opinion on that), put maybe four drops in it, and try it again. I hope that's all it takes to get you squared away. I do understand your frustration.
sounds like something in your equipment is bad, i also have a riva, got mines yesterday, nothing but good things, or it could be the atty is flooding, if something is bad, i would get with who you bought it from and see about getting stuff replaced, with any hardware, something could have just been broken from the get go

Well one atty was burnt up right from the box I know that because the first few drags felt harsh and it has the taste of a burnt up cartomizer. the second one was just flooded and I have seen that the juice is just way too watery its almost like the pre-filled stuff from my super-mini and the s-mini is the only one that can really even vape it. I added some glycerin and it is still too watery the 801 can hardly vape it good thing I got the juice for free got some tobacco and menthol coming in soon here is hoping for some luck. I am vaping rum and cola cut 50/50 from viking vapor and hypnotic mist from FSUSA both very good sweet tasting liquids but poor vapor production.
I bought some unbranded atties a little while ago because they were inexpensive, and have had a similar experience with those. They work, but produce little vapor compared to the branded Joye atties I have. I think one problem might be that they are a higher resistance. That would make them great for use on a 5v or 6v mod, but not so good on a Joye batt or a 3.7v mod. As to the harsh taste right out of the box, so to speak, that may be cause by the liquid with which they are packaged, to keep them moist. Most mfg have changed that liquid to something less offensive, but not all. Blowing that liquid out before a first vape can help that, but sometimes I still have to tolerate that harsh taste for a few drags until it is gone.
