It's a secret!
With all the current discussion about exploding batteries, it got me to thinking.

Wonder if there's a way to manufacture flavored PG or VG in a solid state? Something that could even be lit by a match?

I know a lot of you wouldn't want anything to do with a match or lighter at this point, but I think it would be pretty cool. Just light it, and inhale the vapor that would result as the pg solid burns away. Your PV would be a tube, the solid PG would be a cylinder with a small tube the length of it. You light as you would an analog, and inhale. For a pipe, you'd just drop a PG "ball" into the bowl and light as normal.

I've seen issues with batteries exploding and lead solder in cartomizers, just trying to think out of the box to see if there's a better way.

Pure glycerin or propylene glycol is liquid at room temp. Only way to make them solid is to chill them, (PG to -59*C, VG to 17.8*C, (wow, 64*F....that's not that cold at all!)).

Problem is, just burning them, you'll be getting a lot more than PG or VG vapor. As you burn em, they will break down, just like any burning hydrocarbon. They'll put out CO, CO2, and depending on how dirty the burn is, (how incomplete) a bunch of other crap. PVs don't burn stuff, (intentionally), they just heat them up and vaporize them.

Solid VG melting at just a bit below room temp is sure interesting though....I've never had a juice freeze on me, and have 100% VG juices...makes me wonder how much other stuff is in them...
