I got a hodgepodge mixing station from my wife this year, pieces still being delivered...! Wow I am so...amped! So far I have received:
Bag of pipettes (big bag 100?) have a 1ml. line at the top (approx 40 drops per ml.)
Bag of 5ml. squeezable bottles w/tips & caps 50 or so
Bag of 10ml. squeezable bottles with needle caps! 50
5 5 ml. squeezable syringes (20 drops/ml.)
5 10 ml. flat bottomed tubes with marks
4 glass droppers (40 drops/ml)
250 ml. Of 36mg/ml. nice base (pg)
120 ml. each of vg and pg
24 (I think) flavors from lorann tfa and seedmans

I don't even know where to start (as far as recipes)
I firstly made 100 ml. of 12mg/ml. 50/50 base (my personal level) and put the other 215 or so ml. of base in my lock box.
So far I have made up about 10 flavors waiting to try em now.
My questions are,

Does nicotine have a shelf life? At this rate it may last several months!
Did I pick a good storage place for it? (A dark locked box)
Does it really take a week or more to enjoy my tobacco mixes?
I have hundreds more but these are ones that don't really rely to much on taste...well...maybe the tobacco one. Thanks for any and all input,
Joe

Where to start? Tell your wife that she is AMAZING!!!

You can store your nic in the freezer. I plastic wrap it and put it in a few freezer bags.

Some juices don't need steeping. IMO juices taste better after a few days. The flavorings often need time to merge and fully develop. Some people leave caps off, some use an ultrasonic cleaner, some give warm baths. Everyone will tell you something different. Before I add the nic and pg/vg, I often give the flavors a warm bath. Beyond that, I keep them in a dark closet, shake everyday, and drip every few days/week until it's to my liking.

But most importantly, once again, tell your wife how awesome she is =)

Your wife is an absolute sweetheart!!

To answer your questions...

Your nicotine will be fine for quite a while. If I were storing for years, I'd put it in the freezer but a dark, locked box is fine. (Glad to see you're locking it up.)

Tobacco flavors are notorious for taking a long time to 'come together'. But I have a sweet tobacco juice (more a 'dessert tobacco') that I prefer fresh. As it steeps, the 'tobacco' comes out more, making it less 'sweet'. Experiment - mix some together and try it. If you like it, go ahead and vape it. If not, put it aside for awhile and then try again. But many tobaccos do change in flavor quite significantly so don't decide you hate it and throw it away too soon.

Thanks all,
Yeah, she is! Considering she has never smoked, it surprises me...her enthusiasm...then again, she is probably glad to be rid of the ashtrays, butts, ashes, the odors, stopping before we go in a store or restaurant...I could go on and on. I now stealth vape almost everywhere. Congrats on the mod (I want to go mechanical, but I have so many evods, protanks, iclears and itaste devices I'm afraid I won't use 'em.)
10 ain't enuff! I guess your right, I made a peach with 6% nectarine (LA) 3-4%peach(TFA) 2%bavarian cream(LA-N) and 2%cranberry(LA-N) that surprised me at 3 days. I have paid for much worse!
Yes Danny I have seen your posts before, I'll be r eading much more now that this has become for real (mixing). I have a pomegranite mix stewing a sugar cookie burro, a creamy burro, 2 peach tobaccos, a bacco blend...I like tobacco...I will try to remember the rest as I make 'em. Surprisingly My experience with water testing (I have up to 9 aquariums running sometimes) helps, I have yet to even touch any of the flavors or bases with a finger (I have at least 1 dropper or pipette per bottle/flavor and try not to waste a drop), I imagine I'll settle down when the newness wears off....
I have said it a hundred times... this is a whole lot more than just inhaling vapor...gotta love it

Ignore residuals from over spill of the wife's side (creams etc.) I may have to take over the desk soon!
(Battle with household to follow!)
Ignore cords/wires that's for bookshelf aquarium with baby discus etc.

Not sure if you can see the little drawers I tacked up for wick, wire, tools, bottles etc....
As the obsession continues...

On another note,
I figured it out...my wife pulled items from various save for later's, wish lists and shopping carts and...apparently...pulled all this together from 2 vendors and eBay (I don't care...I LIKE eBay) and for less than $100 including shipping.
I thought she was psychic! I guess, in a way, she is...
the best part is, there was no itchy vape mail angst (until the first package) it just showed up!
