So the charger I am currently using now is from Efest. I got the charger from the Phillipines from which I think is a pretty legit vape shop (in the mall). However, I am a bit skeptical because the instructions that came with the battery seemed to be worded in pretty bad English. No Offense, it sounded like a Chinese man who recently learned English produced the writing. The charger seems to be working fine, but I don't have anything to compare it to. The labels on the instruction manual and the box were the Efest logos, but you know how good some clones and ripoffs could be. I would appreciate if anyone could suggest a great battery charger, preferably with a link. Or should I just keep the charger that I am currently using. There really isn't a problem, except I am just wondering if a better battery charger really makes a difference. Thanks

I don't know of any battery chargers that aren't made in China. If there isn't a problem charging the batteries, I would keep using it. I have a cheap charger and one that cost 3X the price of the inexpensive one. Both charge my batteries just fine. Will I get somewhat better life out of the batteries if I only used the more expensive charger? Maybe, but batteries are cheap...

Two things to be aware of:
1. Is it overcharging your batteries? Check them with a volt meter immediately after taking them off of it. They shouldn't be above 4.2 (or 4.22).
2. What is the charger's charge rate? You want it less than 1 amp (1000 mA) output so it doesn't "cook" your batteries by sending too much current to them and try to charge them too fast. About 500mA-750mA is the sweet spot of safely charging without taking all night to do so. If it is charging too fast, you'll notice the batteries (and possibly the charger itself) getting hot during charging. Not good....shortens battery life considerably as well as greatly increases the risk of batteries exploding during charging.

A good one is the Nitecore i4 which is usually about $20 +or -. It detects the type of battery, charges at different rates depending on what level the battery's at and drops to a very low maintenance "trickle" when the battery's full to prevent damaging them. ;)

Yes, I heard that if it heats up that means its overcharging. The Efest, that I'm using now, doesn't overheat when I accidently leave the battery there for long. There's a sensor there that says when it's done. The light turns from red to green. I also (faintly) read in the manual that the charger has a 'full charge' control. I'm guessing that my charger is fine and that I should probably just keep it. I currently do not have a volt meter, but I will look for one. Thanks guys for the help and responses.
