Finally... After nearly 6 months of stops and starts, I've not only got my first ever PV but it just happens to be the glorious REO GRAND! As stated in the topic title, Woo!!

The Pila Charger and batteries were quick to charge and easy to use. Stuck 'em in and screwed a tester bottle on and vaped 'into a coma' (is that how you say it?) I was so excited, I squonked to hard and got some juice in the well. No biggie.

I'm currently trying out LR cartomizers, as I have nothing to compare I can't complain. If I got normal resistance ones though, would it burn as hot? It reminded me of when I smoked to the filter (which I stopped doing a few months back). I did get a metal tip, but my (awesome) friend (who graciously brought the whole kit and caboodle over from the US) forgot to bring it with him, I was too desparate to try it out!

I do have two concerns however. My first is is atty/carto care. Are you supposed to leave it on after use? What about leakage? And the second is, more specific to the REO and its well; is it ok to let the well dry out by itself? Or should I clean it? If so, how do I clean it?

Oh and can I buy Noalax in shops? I don't if it came with it or my friend forgot but it would be handy wouldn't it.

And to reiterate the point once more, Woo!!

I wish the Grand had been my 1st PV. Well done!

With cartos, you can just put your lips to the mouth piece where you see the round white cap. With attys, you can use the empty cartridge that most of them include as a mouth piece. Standard resistance attys/cartos vape a bit cooler than low resistance and are preferred by many for sweeter flavors. I'd definitely obtain and try a few drip tips though, because they're more comfortable, in my opinion. Drip tips can be used on both cartos and atomizers.

I do have two concerns however. My first is is atty/carto care. Are you supposed to leave it on after use? What about leakage? And the second is, more specific to the REO and its well; is it ok to let the well dry out by itself? Or should I clean it? If so, how do I clean it?

It's fine to leave the atty or carto on your Reo when you're not using it. If you have juice in the well and the Reo isn't sitting upright, it might dribble out. The well you will want to clean on occasion. I use a q-tip. You can use a dry q-tip or one soaked with isopropyl alcohol to clean it out. Just swab it till it's clean and dry.

Noalax is usually sold where electrical supplies are sold. Hardware stores, home improvement stores, etc.

WELCOME AND CONGRATS

No, it wouldn't burn as hot and you won't get the same amount of warmth as you do now. It sounds like you're under filling your carto and it's burnt. Since it's not supposed to taste like that at all. I would toss that one away and start fresh. My recommendation is if you are using a standard sized cartomizer. Fill it with 25 drops of e-liquid, let it sit for 30 minutes and then put it on your REO and vape.

You don't have to squonk until you feel that the flavor is diminishing. So, that's about 10 - 15 hits. If it's an XL type (ex. Dual Coil Carto) then it takes 45 drops. I know some people say you don't have to do this but, from my experience. This is the only way to use cartos to prevent them from being burnt.

You can leave your carto/atty on. Cartos don't leak on a REO unless you overfill it. The access will spill out into the drip well. With atomizers, if you only squonk it after 5 hits or so then your fine. Just remember to squonk it when you feel that the taste is diminishing. Also, there's a good sign. When you taste a slight burnt flavor then it's time. Since the next hit will be horrible.

Just my 2 cents I wanted to add to the information already presented to you.
