So I made a wood box mod with less then $10 and less then two hours of work. Its big. It works really well though. As you will see in the pictures I went with a simple 2 14500 parallel set up, so I would be able to use it at home without fear of how much battery I had left, should last a while. Theres a lot of wasted space, this is only v1.0. Im thinking of making the next one either a bottom feeder with VV and 2 14500's, or VV with two 18650's and having a Voltage indicator built in. Theres quite a bit of room to work with. I don't mind the size, its quite comfortable, but its not for everybody. In the pics, I compare it to my 18650 Noego, and my 14500 NoEgo. Enjoy!

I am planning on staining the next one, just didn't want to put a lot of effort into it until I felt sure it was going to be a good thing. v2.0 will be pretty sick. On my 14500 Noego I have a silver empire drip shield, I only drip or bottom feed, so it works out great. I have high hopes for this mod, I think it could make a way for people to own there own wooden box mod without spending a fortune.

Where did you get the box from? I wanna make one for me. Think I will shorten the box up a bit though. Hehe

I was also thinking of doing a shortened version. Hobby Lobby for $2. I used a old box mod that no longer worked to hold the batteries, a connector that was broke (fixed it with some heat shrink tube) and a old switch I had laying around. So I only paid $2 for this one, but I was being lazy lol. Next one is going to have to much stuff in it, and the one after that should be about perfect lol.
