no box mod 2 18650's

Here is one I did lately. I used 2 18650's and an external charger. It's the same size as my parallel 14500's box.

I put in connector plates so that if I ever need to replace the batteries I can (I don't need to remove the batteries to charge)



Here it is before I added the switch/atomizer/charger-connector module. The module is from a AA box that I cut.



The finished product. My previous parallel 14500 box is on the right.





Should last a *very long time w/o having to charge. It has a little more ummf too.

Yeah, it's safe enough. People charge 8 parallel batteries in a battery pack. The batteries are protected. I've been doing the same thing in my other box for quite a while too.

It's a standard Li-Ion battery charger from madvapes. That one is 650 mah. 4.2v

how many volts do you get from your mod? 7 or 3.7 volts or is it regulated?

Since it's in parallel it's an unregulated 3.7 volts. The load is balanced so it's kind of like a big high drain battery. It lasted the whole weekend, that's exactly what I wanted : )

Parallel protected cells is fine. takes twice as long to charge, each will stop (protected) when it's full. Charger may get warm, I charge several 18650s one per slot, in two chargers and they are getting a work out.

5200mah converts to:

18.5 --> KR808s
28.8 --> 510s

Yeah, quite a few little e-cig batteries to make up the charge in a single 18650.

Wonder how many little 510 batteries it would take to equal this:
Of course the more mah you have, the more you end up using,
sort of like a bag of cookies, nobody can eat just one

Haha cool. Here's another variation on it. I left the ends exposed so I can clip it into the charger. So it's pretty simple, but reliable..

My other one still works, not sure if I'm over doing it by having two. I guess it's like have 57.6 510's
