so these woodvils are not pure mechanicals, there is some wiring and a switch, i believe they are not rated above 5 amps or something like that... and will not have the sub ohm kit, i believe Rob said he would not have all the pieces of the kit until 14 March...

i need to retain more of what yous guys say... but im close... most of the time...

1- Will the woodvils going on sale tonight have the new firing pin, for sub ohmers?

2- What will be the differences between these woodies and the mechanical ones coming out later, in terms of performance?

No the sub ohm kit is for mechanical metal Reos only.

the current Woodvils have an electronic on/off switch rated at 3amp. The also have the electronic fire switch rated at 5amp with wires that tie everything together. A mechanical would not have electronic switches.

standard Woodvil can handle a 1 ohm coil and above. If you by pass the 3 amp on/off with some solder then they can handle .84 ohm coil and above.

I've found that they have a lower voltage drop than a standard grand and thus hit a little harder.
