My KGO has arrived! Now to figure out how to use this thing after having only used the NJoys. lol The youtube videos recommendations are all well and good, but haven't found one that really takes you from one step to another showing what each piece is and what each piece is suppose to do. I need a vaping KGO video for dummies. LOL

Which vendor did you get your KGO from again? Did you get the cartomizers or the atomizer/cartridges and are they pre-filled? I don't remember and can't find the thread again, lol.

You should have gotten cartomizers. You might also have one atomizer. While you're charging it up, go to Youtube and look for a video on how to fill your cartomizer by the "condom method". Take your atomizer and screw it on the end of your kgo. drop 3 or 4 drops of juice into the top of it, right in the center. Wait 30 seconds. Put the plastic mouthpiece (drip tip) into the otp of the atomizer. Push the button and vape. If it tastes o.k., or if that's the only juice you have, fill up a cartomizer using the condom method. Screw the cartomizer onto the kgo. Screw that metal cone thing onto the kgo. Put the drip tip into the top of the cartomizer. Push the button and vape. Dont let the cartomizer dry out. When the vapor gets weak, after 10-20 minutes, drip some drops through the drip tip to re-wet it. Tilt the cartomizer when you do this so the juice drips down the side and not into the hole in the center of the cartomizer filling. Don't let the cartomizer get too dry. If it does, it will burn and taste nasty and you'll have to throw it away.

That's about it. You should have an atomizer, one or more cartomizers and a drip tip. The atomizer is the small metal tube with a heating element in it. The cartomizer is a longer metal thing with two plastic covers on each end. The drip tip is a mouthpiece to use on the cartomizer or the atomizer. If you have anything different than those things, let us know what they are and we'll tell you how to use them.

If you got just an atomizer and cartridges with foam stuff in them, get back on line immediately and order 2ohm cartomizers. Cartridges are useless. You're better off just to drip juice straight into the top of your atomizer.

I purchased my chrome KGO from North West Vapors. I can't get over how fast it arrived! Anyways, I got the kit with two batteries, atty's, pre-filled carto's, and chargers. I also purchased the clear (purple) carto's and purple drip tips. One thing of flavor. Right now I'm using the high pre-filled cartridge and it tastes nasty and hardly any vapor. Bill if you are on here, thank you! Highly pleased with how fast it was shipped and received! Especially from west coast to east coast!

I should be receiving the sample of juices I ordered elsewhere here soon.

I charged up the battery as it was recommended with the instructions. I need to look for the video on how to fill the clear cartomizer.

Drip juice in the atomizer???

Yes, it is a rather easy method to vape in order to get the most out of you flavours. You are literally taking your bottle and adding 2-3 drops of liquid every 10 draws or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. You would want to prime the atomizer first and that is done by dripping 4-6 drops in there and letting it all soak up. Then give it a draw w/o firing it, add a couple more drops and begin. Since the pre-filled cartridges are hit or miss (mostly miss, IMO) you can bypass their use by simply dripping onto the mesh inside of the atomizer. You may just go ahead with the cartos and start with them.

ROTFLMAO I didn't realize I would need to get condoms for my pv. LMAO Ok, by filling it that way...wouldn't the juice get into the middle where it could cause a leak? I thought you were suppose to drip drops down the side?

You're going to love your KGO, I have two kits. I agree the directions that come with the kit are worthless for newbies; I remember being baffled too. You can find good tutorials all over YouTube for anything e-cig related.

The "condom" is the flexible plastic cap that probably came with your cartos. Follow the directions on the video - works just fine and it won't leak. I do that with new cartos, then for future top-offs drip down the sides. If you overfill the "condom" or push the carto down too fast, it might leak a little out of the threaded end. Not a big deal, let it sit for a while and then shake it like you would shake a thermometer. The KGO battery is sealed; juice leaking from there won't hurt it anyway. But I make sure everything is dry before I put it together because I don't like sticky fingers.

This is what I purchased....it said it was for the KGO or EGO. How do I fill it with juice? Do I take the drip tip part off? Or fill from the other end?

Unscrew the drip tip and take it off. Drip your juice down the side of the body until it's almost full. You'll have to tip it occasionally to keep those wicks at the top wet.
