They're here, they're here, they're finally here!!! :)

I ordered Virginia, Melonbacco, Applewood, Backo, Pear, and Waffle. Which ones should be steeped, and which ones would be okay to vap today? I only have a little left in my supply, and my order from Ms T's won't be here until friday... :(

I know folks have had different experiences with steeping, and I have not tried any of the flavors that you mentioned so I wouldn't be able to give specific advice other than give them all a try, if you like the flavor then why hold yourself back?

On the other hand, I think the general consensus is that the tobacco flavors and complex mixtures get the best results from steeping...

Casablanca and Ry4 are probably my 2 favorite tobacco flavors so far, and both have gotten better over the last month or so but nothing exponential...In the future if I like a flavor, I might use it sparingly but I don't have the willpower to deprive myself of it hoping that it will turn from water to wine!

Congrats!! You picked some awesome flavors... I looove Virginia and Applewood and Backo...

Try them all... if you like them, vape them... if you dont like them, let them sit and come back to them.

Just a little tip, the Pear, Waffle, and Melon all have strong, unique flavors that can take over an atty. It's nothing you cant get out, but it'll require a rinse, maybe a soak, and a dry (blow dryer if you're impatient like me!)

So, unless you have 6 different atties (or you use carts), try the Backo and Virginia first so you can really taste them... then jump into the bolder, stronger, more unique flavors.

Whew, I dont know where to start with advice... I have advice for days!! If you have any specific questions/problems, let us know... that'll probably be easier.

Thanks you two!

I'm new to vaping, and have only tried the juice with came with my kit (tanks go through juice FAST), so any advice is appreciated. I bought some 510 attys, and have two priming with virginia and backo now. Finger crossed! :)

Cool! If I run into any problems, I'll ask here.

I just tried Virginia and Backo, and found them on the light side. Think I'll let those, Applewood, and Melonbacco steep a while.

I just put Waffle in a clean atty, and OMG, it's just like have waffles with maple syrup!!! I think I just found my morning vape! :)

Light side on taste could be due to just starting vaping and your taste bids are still basically shot from the analogs.

That's what I'm thinking too. I used to heavily smoke perique blend cigs, and even my e-cig vendors "full flavor" juice tastes like a Malboro light with sugar tossed in.

Best thing for tha is to switch flavors often so you don't get used to one and cleanse the pallette by doing so

That's the plan! :) Between the different flavors I got from you (Waffle and Pear are awesome, BTW) and Ms T's, that should wake my taste buds back up.

//wonder how long that'll take? Days? Weeks? Months?

I cant really remember when my taste buds were dead... or if they ever were... but a lot of people talk about it, so I'm sure its true. I know that smokers generally like saltier foods... because they cant smell/taste that well.

All I know is, my BWB tastes amazing now... thats what matters : )

That's true.

Whenever I cooked for my friends, I'd have to be mindful of the non-smokers in the group, and back off the salt and certain spices. The smokers would whine, but I'd just pass 'round the salt cellar.

My ex-GF was the worst. I'd season foods to what I thought was perfection, and she'd dump an insane amount of salt on it. I took a taste, and it was damn near inedible.

Sorry about resurrecting a dead thread, but letting the virginia and backo steep for a week made a world of difference!

When they showed up, they were almost clear, and had a very light flavor. Now, they are colored kinda like a lager, and vape VERY well, especially in a tank. Mmm, smooooooooth! :)

Great work Don!

/Giving Melonbacco and Applewood another week. Can't wait!

Virginia will be arriving in one of my orders today, so I'm really looking forward to trying it. I enjoyed Backo, Melonbacco and Applewood right from the mailbox. They did get better as the days went by, but I really liked them immediately and continued to vape them. My Maple Tobacco is really good and I did order more, but I'm hoping the maple pops out a little more as it steeps.
