Well, when I graduated high school, I was 5'9" and about 140 lbs. Before that, a whole lot less. I was beat up, picked on, and some things I won't even say here. After high school, I went into the military and now today I am at about 215 lbs.

He reminds me too much of a guy that beat me up in Third Grade. He was in Third Grade too and about that size. Course here, people tend to stay in Third Grade a long time.
It was so danged cold, I had just about everything I owned on!
Hey Buck, yeah, football and rodeo was our lives as kids. Back then (early 50's) you could still play football and rodeo the rest of the year. Today, if you play football the coaches don't allow you to rodeo. Its one or the other.

Yea they take their football serious down in Texas. I guess they don't want to go to all the trouble of recruiting just to have them get hurt doing rodeo.
Speaking of Texas football. I just watched something tonight about how the rural Texas towns are shrinking in population. The high school class size is smaller and therefore the football teams had fewer candidates to play. There solution was to shrink the playing field to 80yds, 4 10min qtrs. And only 6 man sides. Weird!!! They said that in Texas they go to church twice a week. Once on Sunday, and once on Friday night.
I gave up my hope of being a star halfback the second day of practice. One tackle grabbed my left leg, another grabbed my right leg, and the linebacker looked at me and said, "Make a wish!"
