Completely dropped the ball on the last woodvil run  BUT I got one in the classies! Love it, kinda stinky but eh I'll get used to it. What are the cocobolo woodvils finished with? Or is the smell the cocobolo? It's not a big deal really, just the first thing I notice. Anyway, pic:

Cocobolo 18490

Waiting on a brass RM2 and a couple cocobolo drip tips but other than that, happy happy happy! lol This guy joins a REO family of a silver vein grand, black wrinkle lp grand, and black wrinkle mini 2.1.

Absolutely beautiful Tim, excellent find! Put a 6ml bottle in it and it'll never leave your hand.

I didn't notice any funny smells with cocobolo from the last run. All I can faintly smell is the wax I put on it, if I put my nose on it. That one of yours looks like it has been very well looked after.

oops, missed the last 2 posts - Howards, thats why it looks so good!

Ya it's in great shape. 6ml bottles waiting at home. Love the lil square 6ml in my mini so I assume this one will get the same. :D

Congrats on the sweet looking coco. I'd suggest Howard sunshield that will help slow the UV rays from turning it brown overtime. Howards is beeswax, orange oil and forgot what else, so yeah it's got a smell to it.

I've been using Renaissance Wax, don't know if its as good as Howards (never used it) but it leaves very little residual smell. It also works on the metal Reo's.

Yes the fire switch is 5amps, the on-off switch is 3amps but these are continuous ratings at 12v not 4.2 and below. So they can take higher amps in our use than the rating suggests. 1 ohm is a very safe range and if you swap out the spring it's got a nice kick. You can also bypass the on/off switch and it's voltage drop by putting a drop of solder across the contacts for an even bigger kick. Here's some more info on that http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...w-spring-switch-mod-voltage-drop-results.html

I've gone as low .7 without an issue but 1 ohm is plenty and where I typically run my woodviles at.

If the smell bothers you use plain mineral oil on the inside it has no smell and works great
Thank you for the tip and for making this awesome mod!

Right now I have a single coil of Rene 41 at 0.96 ohm and its great! Funny how I keep trying to fire it like my grands with my thumb lol
