This past Sunday I placed my first order with WordUp ecig (Wordup E-Cig Super Store). I very quickly received a confirmation email, as well as a phone call (which threw me for a loop - who the heck was calling me at 11am Sunday morning from a 508 area code?) from Jeffrey, who runs the site. The call was because I didn't read the site well enough - For the 520, you have two choices: a "plain kit" containing two manual batteries, two attys, five cartridges, a wall charger and a user manual, and the "super kit" containing two manual batteries, two attys, 15 cartridges, a wall charger, a car charger and a 30ml bottle of your choice of liquid. I had picked the plain kit, but hadn't been paying attention and picked a flavour liquid from the drop menu. Jeffrey called me to clarify my mistake, and let me know that the plain kit didn't actually come with a liquid.

Thursday morning my kit arrived: Two manual 520 batteries (huge, compared to the m4xx series I'm so used to), two attys, five cartridges in marlboro flavour, a wall charger... and a little bottle of the coffee flavour I had picked from the menu. Not a 30ml bottle, mind you, but a little sample bottle. Which I was pretty impressed with, both the flavour (Lucious Laurin's Coffee is good!) and the fact that it was free, because really, who doesn't like free stuff? I also received a handwritten note telling me to charge the batteries before use, and is I had any questions to give them a call anytime, day or night. A handwritten note? Who does that anymore? Well, apparently WordUp does.

Now, on to the main bit: The 520.
First off, as I mentioned, the battery in comparison to what I'm used to is HUGE, size-wise. From what I understand, the 520 is slightly larger than the 510, but completely compatible - same attys and what have you. I charged the battery as directed, screwed on the atty, popped on the cartridge and took a puff... And wow. Big cloud on the first puff, amazing throat hit, and the general tobacco flavour that came with the kit really isn't that bad. And coming from someone who doesn't like general tobacco flavours, that's a big compliment. I found it smooth, with that lightly sweet, tangy taste of fresh tobacco. Regardless, it didn't stay in there long before I cleaned the filler and refilled with some of the coffee flavour that was sent with the kit. The nicotine level was a tad high for me (18mg, burns like heck when you're used to 12mg), but the taste came through the burn. Very good, strong, but not in that burnt way some coffee liquids taste, smooth, lightly sweetened... In general, an excellent vape. Let me also mention that with a previous kit I had ordered, I actually had to have a friend THOROUGHLY clean the attys, as they had the most God awful primer on them. I thought they had been shipped burnt - It tasted that bad, and it took my friend literally hours to clean them to working condition. And they still don't work that well. Not so with the 510/520 attys that came with my kit - No nasty primer, were made to work great out of the box. And they did.

I've been using the same battery since last night when it finished charging, going on 24 hours now, and still going strong. Vapor production hasn't diminished, and I refilled the cart twice now. I won't lie, I've been vaping heavier than I usually do just to really see the lifespan of this battery, and I'm pretty impressed. Not one blink, still getting great clouds of vapor, great throat hit. Atty is still going strong, no weird tastes or anything.

In short, I only have good things to say about both WordUp and the 520 ecig. I totally recommend them to anyone looking for a new kit.

Time for stars!!

Customer service: ***** (They called me AND sent a handwritten note!)
Battery Life: ***** (24 hours and still going strong)
Throat Hit: **** (Pretty impressive)

Feel free to let me know if I missed going over anything :D
