Since the emails will be coming from different people, one email blast per person is all I'm talking about, it shouldn't raise any type of flag for the person sending the email. I hope this can be settled before people start getting scared and don't want to do this.

My intention is to NOT cause any difficulties for ANYONE involved. If I thought there was a risk...

In case Kristin comes here, I will not be able to check on this thread for most of the day today. I'm going to be away from Internet access from 12:30 till later this evening. I will check back after I get back home.

Not trying to scare anyone thats for sure. I do get a regular email from another that goes out to 30 or so people daily so my info my be a little old.

Maybe the thing to do would be to break up the mailing into two or three batches; most everything I'm finding on Google re: spamming is about sending out emails, all at once, to 100-500 addresses. But be sure to put YOUR address in the TO: and the recipient's address(s) in the BCC:

Good info Elf...thanks for looking that up. I think that is a very good solution to the concerns about being flagged as a spammer.

Thanks for clarifying that, Robin.

One email per person sent to the 26 addresses (or however many there turns out to be) with my email address in the "To" section. Got it.

What a wonderfully well-written email. Surely it will garner positive attention. Can't wait to send out my emails.

I think on this day I am also going to "come out" of the smoker's closet. I am quite certain that the majority of my Facebook friends had absolutely no idea that I was a smoker, nor was I ever eager to share it. I am excited about having quit with the help of e-cigs and want to share the news with everyone I know. Chances are it may help someone else, and go a long way towards education about vaping.

I know a thing or two about email... ;)
A single email addressed to 26 people isn't going to raise any flags; it's a pretty common occurrence.
Sending 26 individual emails is just as fine.

When you hit 50 to 100, within an hour, that'll raise a flag.

In a good or a bad way?

Do you have any suggestions that might help the emails to get noticed or increase their impact?
