The whole stocking up thing is a legacy of the period when vaping law was (more) up in the air and there was a belief that the tobacco industry would successfully make vaping illegal. It didn’t happen, though they still appear to be trying. A few decent studies have slipped past their info blockade though and it is appearing less and less likely that it will become a threat.

The "scare" seems to have been postponed for the time being, except for some localities that have banned/limited certain things altogether. And in addition, there's that "tax" thing in particular areas, some very extreme.

Not sure if the next shoe will fall or where it will end up. I'm resting pretty easy right now, but I never underestimate what the future might hold.

I agree . The big one right now is if they can manage to turn that bundle of exploding ecig lawsuits into a class action.

At least I’m not going to order barrels of nicotine
The flavorings are used in many other applications, 18650 batteries same again used in flashlights and other things, PG and VG used in other products so these will never disappear. Its the gear that could disappear depending on the government involved but like said its going to be a while before that happens.
Its the Nicotine that could become a commodity, become regulated and/or banned making it harder to find or get super expensive to acquire via the black market if it goes that far. Their already knocked nic in UK down to 72mg and in Canada knocking it down to 66mg soon. Noticing too the tobacco flavorings like Hangsen have lost the 50ml concentrate size and your forced to buy 10's and 30's or rebottled. Canada is approaching ecig laws with idiot eyes and moronic laws unlike the FDA who tried to outright ban it.
I like many who if the hammer falls, vape gear becomes harder to find will vape for years after the fact even if its flavorless..the nicotine is the important element that stockpiling is a almost must do for its unforeseen future that could change at any time.

There is hope in that area too. Liquid nicotine is the only effective pesticide for the emerald ash borer beetle which is a dangerous invasive species costing billions of dollars in damages. A case could be made for it to be maintained as a critical pesticide

Vuse, Vype, Hype ... BT's got on the bandwagon now too - toting harm reduction with their products.
Sure no guarantee that BT or BP ain't gonna kick vaping in the crotch, given half a chance. But :
BG's got already too many alternative facts to cope with, so they be busy lookin' for smoke trails out of Kim Jong Un's little worker's paradise instead of vapor trails out our collective mouths :D

ANTZ's posterboy Stanton Glantz has joined the club of the #metoo - looking at a possible lawsuit for sexual harassment. So his admonitions to lead a pious and smokefree life and keep one's urges under control sound kinda hollow right now.

So for the time being, mostly quiet on the vaping front.

Got stock, replenish what I consume to keep it on the level. Cuz with gubmint, one never knows.
Keep yer powder dry and your wick wet :)
Vape on

Agree about the Nic.

In the UK it was 72mg for a while. Now it's down to 18mg, and you can only get it in 10ml bottles. You can get the higher concentrations / larger quantities, but only with a business license. I would worry that our caring benevolent masters are going to see that as a good model to follow. Just to screw up the system without actually banning it.

This is Canada...the fat boy government likes to dip their fingers into everybody's honey so its going to be no surprise if they tax the pizz out of vape gear and juice to be just as expensive as tobacco. Ontario and Quebec run the entire country, both those provinces grow all the tobacco that supply the rest of the nation and have all the say in what happens.
