That's like what I got out of peanutbutter cup. 100 year old peanut butter.
Like someone mentioned in an earlier reply, taste is subjective. What tastes good to one person might make the next person hurl.
Another thing that makes all of this so hard is there is very little consistancy from one vendor to another. Even worse, sometimes you can't get consistancy from one batch to the next within the same vendor. So far, I've purchased Menthol from 5 different vendors. You would think that would be an easy flavor to nail down. Nope, not one of them come even close to having the same taste.
I have only had one menthol that I truely could not stomach. When I read the reveiws prior to ordering some said it was similar to a Peppermint Patty. When it came and I tried it, it had a nasty burned rubber taste to it. Worst thing I ever flowed through an atomizer.

My son loves just menthol...So, we ordered some menthol crystals, you can get them from different vendors here or even on ebay. Very inexpensive btw. They are exactly what they say...crystals. You have to crush them up ( i use the ole handy dandy rolling pin ) just crush up a tiny bit , add to unflavored nic juice..and wallah.....A little bit of these goes a very long way...So, if you decide to try it....use sparingly.

As we have surely seen thus far, taste is quite subjective. I've found that each month my taste is changing. What I liked 3 months ago tastes absolutely rancid now. I'm assuming it will change again.
The worst flavor I have come across? Bubblegum. Absolutely terrible. Can't even stand to do a second toke and tossed the atty. It tastes exactly as it is supposed to, but that just turns my stomach.
I can't stand the RY4 I sampled. Could be a bad batch but it seems to have no flavor at all. It does produce a nice vapor, but tastes about like straight VG with no flavor.
Easily French Pipe. I can see why someone out there might like it, but it most certainly not for me. I also ordered some Dr. Pepper (I don't really know what I was thinking), and it tastes almost exactly like when the dentist shoves his rubber gloves in your mouth to prod around. So yeah, they got the Dr. part right, it just certainly wasn't of the Pepper variety.
I like most all of the mint, menthol kind.
But i never thank i'll take a likeing to the Nuport vape.

Hulkbacco. Cant vape jalepeno ejuice. It was a free sample with the kit I bought.
I refilled several empty V4L carts (coffee, chocolate, menthol, Kant) with French Pipe and 555. French Pipe still doesn't work for me, neither straight up or mixed... and it's the worst with menthol. So far the 555 improves with the above, but haven't tried to mix it with French Pipe.
Oh God! Tell me about it! Took practically forever to get it out of the atty, too.
My newest "worst" liquid is, sadly, Atomic Fireball. In all fairness, however, I find that I don't like any juice with even a hint of cinnamon flavor.
can i just say johnson creek? everything i've tried from them is equally as bad.
Watermelon from Nuvape for me, a slight perfumey watermelon taste.
Now I have bought Rum, Pineapple and Coconut from Heaven Gifts and can't comnplain. Nope I would not vape either of them singularly but they make on heck of a Pina Colada. Getting them separately allows you to tweak it to your taste....ROFL.
