Maybe it's me, or maybe they need to steep (but the website says not necessary), but these are awful. They taste nothing like their description.

Of the eight flavors I ordered, I do like the black licorice - a little sweet but good and I can stomach the wintergreen. But the others will probably end up in the trash.

I'm new to this and am using a KR808 ...eGo comes in the mail today...maybe I'm doing something wrong (what that could possibly be, I don't know) or maybe my taste buds are messed up, but yetch!

These are the juices I ordered:
Black Licorice - eliquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG)

Chocolate Chili - eliquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG)

Coconut Wizard - eliquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG, Add a Flavor 1: Add Chocolate, Add Sweet Cream: Add Sweet Cream, Make it a Cookie: Yes, Name Your Creation: Coco-choco)

Coffee Your Way - eLiquid Flavor
Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG, Coffee Strength: Strong Black, Coffee Flavor Shot 1: Add Cream, Coffee Flavor Shot 2: Add Mocha, Name Your Creation: Morning Blend)

Eggnog - eLiquid Flavor
(Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG, Add a Flavor 1: Brandy, Add a Flavor 2: Pumpkin Spice)

Gingerbread - eLiquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Double Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG)

Gingerbread - eLiquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG)

Snickerdoodle - eLiquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG)

Wintergreen - eLiquid Flavor
(Additional Flavoring: Double Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 12 mg - Lights, Base Mix: 70% PG / 30% VG, Menthol or Cool Hit: Cool Hit)

Maybe you ought not get the extra flavoring before you've tried the regular flavor. I only use tabacco flavored e-juice and haven't tried ec blends but from my limited experience; extra flavor = too much.

I think you make a very valid point. However I like the wintergreen and black licorice and they had extra flavoring and I dislike coffee and eggnog and they did not get extra flavoring. So that theory doesn't really work.

I seriously taste not even a hint of coffee in the coffee.

I'll try steeping...

Hi val
It takes a lot of experiment to find the juice and vendors you like. Get reg flavorings next time without the extra flavor added and try out some other vendors where reviews are good.. Sorry but it happened to me too. Most juice I buy I dont like.. I make my own most of the time now as I know what I like and what I do not like. I like tobaccos mostly from avejuice.com and I can doctor them up to my liking using the base to add flavor. Also try and get very small sizes to try where you can, It will save you money on juice that tastes like crap/// lol

Oh Val!! That's a darn shame! I love ECBlends! The only one you got that I have is the chocolate chili and it's ok, not great. The one's i got that I seriously LOVE... White Peach ala Zoe, Dragon's Blood, Dragon's Tears, Steven's Surprise, Chocolate Sin. I have 30ml bottles of ALL of those.. two of the White Peach!! They're all very fruity,, apparently that's what I seem to like. The Chocolate Sin is a nutty chocolate, maybe hazelnut?? Not sure, but it's quite good. That really sucks that you don't like them. Have you tried anyone else for liquid?? Highbrow is very good,, I have a few AltCigs that are nice.. it just sucks so bad to have paid for stuff you hate!!

Hmmmm, just about all of those sound great to me! I would suggest to try them on your new ego, that is what I am currently using. When I first ordered some fruity type juices, they smelled and tasted like chemicals... ewwwww! So, I took off the tops and let them sit in the dark for a few days. The smell subsided and they did taste better.... The other thing I did was to mix several flavors together... that helped a lot and if I totally messed them up, I added in some nport and that was about all I tasted after that....

They all seem to be 70/30, maybe it's the pg that you don't like???? You could always stop by your local pharmacy and get a cheap bottle of vegetable glycerin USP grade only. Add in some of that. It will dilute the flavor, but will also cut down the nic level a bit. See what that does....

If ALL else fails, please don't throw it in the trash! Check out the PIF (pay it forward) forums here. There is a treasure chest forum to just give it away. There is also a trade thread where you accept an open offer and reply back with what you have to offer. The latter will probably suit you best as you will get other flavors to try instead of just giving away or throwing away.... I'm sure there are a lot of members that would love these.... There always seem to be a lot of contests and deals for juices, too. It does take some time to find what you like the best.... For me, it tends to be sweet stuff. I never really liked the taste of my stinkies, I just need to get my nic fix. Now, I can get it from something that tastes like chocolate, cheesecake, etc and not even have to worry about calories!
Good Luck!

Boy, that's the truth - I know others have tried a lot more than I have, but I'm on my 6th vendor now! I just ordered several more from AltCig for the first time (#7). Had a great chat with Sunny, and if their juices are half as nice as she was, I know I'll be happy.

I would LOVE to start making my own. I guess that's my next step. I know it isn't that hard, but I'm a little frightened and don't know how to begin.

Oh - yep, only getting 3 or 6 mls. of the 'unknowns'

I don't think I'm a fruity person - I lean towards spicy, I think. From the description, I think I'd like Boba's but not sure how that works in an eGo. I also don't like a LOT of sweetness. Tried Highbrow and thought they were OUT OF CONTROL sweet. The chocolate sin sounds pretty good to me though.

Are you enjoying your new toy? : )

Hey Snus! Maybe I'll trade them with you!

Seriously - all good ideas. I can do some experimenting (after I try steeping). Also like the PIF idea. I've been using the 70/30 on a regular basis - I s'pos I should try experimenting with that too.

I'm afraid to waste a carto and/or tank on one of these juices. Now keep in mind I JUST got my new eGo in the mail and am such a newbie, but can I just rinse out a clearomizer or eGo tank if I don't like the flavor and reuse it?

Got a recommendation for a good cheesecake? Sounds delicious!

I'm a work and didn't really wanna carry that monstrous thing in my pocket!! So I haven't had a chance to really play with it. DANG!! Dd you get the EgoC stuff? I'm wondering if you like it, cuz I think I'm gonna order it tomorrow if you've had good luck with it.

I second or third the steeping. My first experience with ECBlend wasn't enjoyable either and I did extra flavor because I really like to taste my juice and didn't know what the original would be like in subtleness. In my experience, Dragon's Blood and Ruyan 4 are both good with extra flavor and even better with a week of steeping. The grape extra flavor was just all right at first and after 2 weeks of steeping was awesome. White Peach ala Zoe plus vanilla has been said to be good with extra flavor (have some on the way but haven't tried it before). Check out the ECBlend review thread. They are definitely my fave juice vendor now after finding what I like. They have WAY too many choices and great prices for me to have given up after one time :). Good luck to you!

Well I think I'm doing something wrong. I put it all together, tried it and got a TERRIBLE burned plastic taste. Did a little research and decided to try to vape it like 10 times without inhaling...didn't help much. Found a video that said to drip 4-5 drops of juice directly onto the atty. That seemed to work great...but only for about 5 drags. I'm getting the burned plastic taste again. I'm certain it's something I'm doing wrong. Something about priming the thing...? I think it would be a nice addition to your arsenal at only 10 bucks. Just seems so economical with just having to change the atomizer. No leakage that I can tell. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks, ambeck. I'll definitely try to steep before I give up. And I do have high hopes for AltCig, too

Valsey, PLEASE let these juices steep for about two weeks before you revisit them (your taste buds are also still healing -- with time, everything about vaping gets better! :) )

And yes, you can just rinse out clearos and let them air dry. It doesn't matter so much whether you are using a kr808 or an ego per se; what matters is the voltage that each piece of equipment runs. Your hardware may both run at about the same voltage under load (3.6-3.7v), or your kr808 may run at a higher voltage (4.1-4.2v). Higher voltage produces a warmer vape, and also changes the flavor somewhat.

Hang in there! :) :vapor:

I'm trying Eleanor. Even if I have to go back to the nasty 808, I will. I feel certain I will not ever smoke an analog again. But man - this sure isn't as easy as picking up a pack and lighting one up. Sheesh....

I know. :( Nothing has quite the reliable simplicity as ye olde tobacco ciggies.

I don't know what kind of KR808 you have, but that's actually all I use (when I win the lottery, I'll get a VV wooden box mod :D).

My go-to vendors are Smokeless Image (for regulated, 3.6v batts) and Vapor4Life (for unregulated, 4.2v batts). Those vendors both carry fat bats too now, as well as tanks and clearos and mega-cartos, all 808-threaded. :)

Smokeless Image (home of the Volt) is especially "plug-and-play," as much as any device I've ever seen or tried.

yes, please don't throw anything away! in addition to the above suggestions, you can try to sell them in the classifieds...
I hate a lot of popular liquids...and like some unpopular ones :) taste is such a personal thing.....

I'm being a bit repetitive, but like everyone else has said - give it a little more time.

I've had a couple of juices that I was not particularly fond of the first day or two, but a couple of days later they really hit the spot ;)

I have about a half dozen flavors from ECBlends and I just placed another order with them today.

I have a couple of V2cigs and a tobacco store quickie that's really quite good, but always needs adjusting now - a cig2o. But I felt like I wanted to step it up - wasn't really getting satisfied. The eGo I just got today is almost 'over' satisfying me. Feeling a little wooo-woo-woozie

:p
