at avidvaper. Expensive! Planning on buying like 8 Cisco LR attys (306 and 510, 1.5 and 2 ohm), and it comes out to almost $80!!! I'm (hopefully) bout to drop some cash on a Reo Grand, and want a nice arsenal of LR attys to last me a while. I just don't know if the added cost of the "cisco" brand is worth it when I could get a 10 LR atts for half the price.

Thoughts?

Well I am a bit of a late convert to the Cisco LR 306 party, but now that I have tried it I can tell you it is worth the effort. Both my VV mods are on the blink right now so I finally broke out a Cisco 306 1.5 Ω atty and put it on my eGo. Holy crap, I got so much rich vapor that I got a nicotine rush. Mmm Mrs Ts vanilla tasted so good on the Cisco that I couldn't stop and that is why I am typing this answer at 4:00 AM lol.
They work great on my Phidias as well, but they are hot enough that on that to make me think that maybe the 2 Ω Ciscos would be even better. What really impressed me though, was the amount of taste and vapor they produced on an eGo.
So my answer would be yes, they are definitely worth the extra price.

I would, for sure.

Cisco sells his attys through his own site, now, Avid Vaper : Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid and Accessories and has 2 ranges, 1.5 Ohm and 2.0 Ohm. If you are using more flavorful juices, definitely the 2.0 Ohm, as I find the 1.5 run TOO hot.

If used right, they last quite a long time, so please get to know the atty before using it. If you get 10 of his attys, you get a discount as well. He also ships mad fast.

:)

Hope that helps.

I have tried all sorts of LR attys, and his and ikens (from ikenvape) are the two finest LR attys i have tried. Now that Cisco is doing 2.0 ohm (the same as Ikens), they are a treasure.

Lastly, if you are going the 306 route, invest in a CANNON 306 drip tip. They may look ugly, but your lips will thank you. You can get those through Clouds of Vapor or directly from Cherry vape, those who make em.

:)

Listen, I live and DIE by cisco LR 306's. I have a omega that i can crank to 6.4 volt and it's GOOD. but, there is nothing better in flavor than a 18650 battery with a Cisco LR 306. these things are work horse and the flavor and vapor is killer.

HOWEVER

The next purchase i make will be the ato-miser from inhaler. This looks like the new wave for atty's you can literally make your own atomizer for next to nothing (Drew calculates it costs like 15-20 cents per atomizer) you can do 5.0 ohms or all the way down to 1.5 ohms, there really isn't much you can complain about. the cap/tip you put on this bad boy looks like it could hold a ton of eliquid and there doesn't seem to be any flooding.

If i were you, i'd use that money you plan on spending on the LR 306's from cisco (which i swear by) and grab the ato-mizer.

goto youtube and look it up. it's probably one of the sexiest mods of anything i've seen on an ecig.

thanks for the advice. As i'm still in the newb stages, i think im going to hold off on the ato-mizer and grab up the ciscos. 2x 2.0ohm 510, 2x 2.0ohm 306, 2x 1.5ohm 306, 2x 1.5ohm 510. If I add two more I will get a discount?

If your a noob then the best experience IN MY OPINION is the 306 if your ok with dripping. remember, you can't use carts on this. It's direct dripping (Which is ok cause the best flavor comes from direct dripping) i think you'll love them. BUt, just like vaping at 6volts remember to keep these atomizers wet.

I've been using the same LR Cisco atty almost exclusively for 3 months now and it still hits like a champ. The other day, I dropped my eGo on concrete (roughly 6' drop) and thought I broke my atty. The connector had broken off and was just hanging by the wires. The cool thing was that it still fired. Took me all of one second to push the wires and connector back into the atty. That was three days ago and it's like I never broke it at all. Trust me, these attys are worth every penny!

I have been using the Cisco LR 306 for about 3 months. It is my goto atty on 3.7V. This thing is awesome. In fact it is so nice I have stock piled over 25 of them so I won't run out. If treated correctly they will last a long time. Do not run dry and do not chain vape. I just ordered from Avid about an hour ago. Added some 2.0 stuff. 2 - 306's and 2 801's to give them a try on the VV ProVari
