Would a IPV mini 2 with a uwell crown tank be a good upgrade for eleaf 30w + kangertech nano?

I'm strongly considering making the jump to a IPV mini 2 or a IPV D3, once I can figure out which one is smaller as I want a pocket sized mod. I've had nothing but bad performance with this eleaf/nano combo and just fed up with constantly getting mediocre hits and clogging despite constant cleaning, eliquid ratio changes and coil replacement.

The only thing I'm hesitant is if it's too heavy, the downgrade to a 18350mah battery (eleaf has a 2200mah) and the stories about paint chipping easily.

P.s where is a good place to get all this stuff with decent shipping rates? I tried ecig.com but they only have silver colours

Be careful with Uwell Crowns.... I have 2 Crowns and they both leak. They leak VERY VERY little, but enough that I could never trust bringing one to work in my suit jacket pocket.

Amazing flavour and vape and the best tanks I own, but many of them do leak. I am currently running one with the RBA and the other with a Crown coil. Both leak.

Just something to think about in any case.

Personally, my "going out" sub-ohm tanks are Kanger Subtanks, Tobeco Super Tank Minis and a Steam Crave Aromamizer. Neither of these (7 tanks) have ever leaked a drop.

I have the iPV D2 & D3, and they're essentially the same size. I've heard good things about the VTC mini, but as I'm PIFing one of my iPVs, I need another backup and I think I'm going with the Wismec Presa 75W. I understand the Presa has the same chip as the VTC mini, but I like form factor better. VapeNW was the Presa 75W for $29.99, which is a little less than I've been able to find the VTC mini.

Authentic or "Authentic"?
Example:
  1. Authentic Kanger Subtank Mini = product manufactured by Kangertech
  2. Kanger Style Subtank Mini = clone
I just used the quotes to highlight the word.
I also heard that I shouldn't order batteries from them because they take longer?
I have heard that as well.

For the Uwell Crown tank, you have to consider this. If you're gonna use the factory SS 0.25 ohm coil, be prepared to push with at least 80 watts power setting, plus the temp. So, look for something that gives you at least a bit more power than the IPV D2 or D3.
I use my Crown on the RX200. About the same price, except the cost of 3 batteries. I'd say a better buy in the long run. Oh, it's quite big too compare to the IPV D2.

If you can find an iPV mini 70 watt thats great , it's an extremely reliable mod , solid aluminum and proven .

I would take that over anything by Eleaf or Joytech since both are essentially the same company. I would also take a mod made by Innokin over them as well .

I worked in the electronic repair field most of my adult life and have thoroughly dismantled and studied most of these mods , thats why i don't care for Joytech or Eleaf , subpar build and quality imo .

Lots of others like them though, they are cheap $$ so if your on a budget.

I like my IPV Mini 2, it's been solid for me and it's small. But it's my backup, because I hate the battery cap and my main APV is an IPV 4S because of dual batteries, TC and of course it doesn't have that stupid battery cap.

I would go with the D3 or one of the other suggestions. The only reason I could think of to buy the IPV Mini 2 at this point is if you find it somewhere for free or super cheap.
