Would a naval brass tank be safe?

Someone should turn the Statue of Liberty into a giant PV. Make the torch a giant atomizer and put a drip tip on the top of the flame (I know the SoL is bronze and not brass, but bronze also oxidizes green.)

I have seen brass drip tips. Never tried one though yet, as I would think it would impart a metallic taste compared to stainless steel. I cant use chrome either, as it just tastes like metal to me.

As long as the brass doesn't contain lead it should be "safe" but I don't know that it's a good material to use for the whole tank. Maybe just the caps or a decorative sheath with a pyrex tube inside would work better.

I was thinking of making a 1 piece tube for my kayfun. Honestly I completely forgot about the oxidation. The caps on my 8w show oxidation very fast. This is why I asked. Lok
