Gary, if you filled out that pop-up for your e-mail address that's to get notice if/when ECF runs a contest. You didn't get a sign up to receive any free samples.
If you don't mind paying a couple bucks for shipping, you can get a "free" sample from Vista Vapors at vistavapers.com (yes, that's "vapers" with an E. It redirects to their regular site spelled with an O, but that's the place to get the free sample, last I checked.) Also Apollo E Cigs (apolloecigs.com) occasionally runs a deal where they give away two free bottles (again, you pay a couple dollars for shipping), but it doesn't seem to be running right now. I got a GreenSmoke starter kit for a buck at greensmoke.com/freesample, you can see if that one is still available.
Also check the supplier contests forum, there are giveaways and contests running all the time. Some of them are as easy to enter as posting in the thread, sometimes you need to do a little more like post a funny picture or write your state representative (you're on the Honor System, for those ones). Some you can enter only once and some you can enter several times each day. Finally, check the Pay It Forward forum for the "PIF Treasure Chest" thread. People give away free stuff they don't want anymore. Juice, gear, DIY supplies, you name it. In the eighteen months I've been a member here, between giveaways, the Treasure Chest, supplier contests, and one YouTube contest I've won or otherwise received four mechanical mods, a 60-watt temperature control mod kit, two pen-style kits, a rebuildable tank, and over 320ml's of e-liquid, for not a single penny. Most of it brand-new. And I'm not even that active in the contests. I've seen other people win a lot more in that same time.

Welcome and glad you joined. Must be doing something wrong or vaping is never going to work for you.
