David have you gotten this off the drawing board yet? So many people are trying to build the better mouse trap per-say for the 306 but all still in Delrin and you seem to be the only one who thinks he has a good design for a SS one and I know me and many others are anxiously waiting.:vapor:

Nope, it's still on.

Heres the deal. Growing pains. I've made a lot of commitments on products without the manpower to execute them in a timely manner and for that, i apologize. I can tell you, the locking button, the 306 tip and 306 Vapmate adapter, delrin whistle tips, Shockwave etc are still coming. I have another worker starting in a week and a half, so that should help get things squared up here so i can push some of these new designs through.

I have a question. I like the longer DTs with the LR 306 because of heat. Won't the SS 306 DT transfer a lot of heat to lips? I can see perhaps a delrin base with SS top maybe insulating from heat.

I LOVE my DT 801 to 510 adapters. I have a huge collection of CherryVape Pawns and other really nice 510 DT, including a Super T SS 510 so I can now use all of them. Thank, Super T, those and other great items.

Alice, I'm sure David has taken the heat issue into account on his design, I think with the proper length the heat would be no worst than on a LR510 and I'm so tired of using cheap plastic tips for these but even a delrin base with SS top designed by David would be way better than anything out there now.

BTW I see your from near Dallas, I was born there and grew up in Arlington. But I'm stuck in the snow of north Eastern PA now.

How long has it been since you've been back? Arlington has grown tremendously especially with the new Cowboys Stadium and Rangers Stadium. Lots of new shopping all the time. I live in far SW Dallas Co., south of Joe Pool Lake (State Park). Going around lake to get to DFW, via 360, we first go through Grand Prairie, and then Arlington. 360 has become a major thoroughfare, pretty heavy traffic during rush hour. Arlington, now days, pretty much connects Dallas and Fort Worth. Nice place to have grown up.

BTW.... it is Spring and almost summer here, although we are having 30's tonight. It will be 80 by end of week. We've just gone through almost two weeks of 70 day time temps. Everything is blooming and trees are turning green. Time to cut the wee... I mean grass.

Be well, Alice

The main reason I'm concerned about heat is that I use the ST SS 510 Dt, with the SS 801 to 510 DT adapter, on a 1.8 or 2.0 ohm IKV Mini 801, with my bigger Reos, using HD 18650 batteries. The DT can get a little warm, but not burning hot, sometimes, and it is a bit further away from the coil and bridge than a 306 probably will be. With the IKV Mini, the coil and bridge are closer to the top of tube than standard size attys so if the 306 DT is pretty tall then it may be about the same.

BTW..... I love my SS DT. I clean my attys, cartos, DTs, en mass, when I have enough to do a boiling session for the cartos/attys. I then, latter, go to my gear box, to get the SS DT out to use and freak because it isn't there. I then remember they are in the little drainer in kitchen window. I have three of the 801 to 510 DT adapters and I've misplaced one, which drives me a little nuts (I'll find it when I have more time to look through my gear boxes.). I'm afraid, if I get another SS 510 DT, I'll get careless and misplace one of those. So, for now, when I can't put my hands on the SS one immediately, I use another metal one that looks like SS. It might be but it is not nearly as comfortable as the Super T SS DT.

I, too, am looking forward to the SS 306 DT.

That looks pretty neat but I do not know if plugging another suppliers product in this subforum is the greatest idea. Not looking for an arguement, just puttin in my 2 cents

No harm no fowl intended I'm sure, I might have to get one to try but I'm sure David has a much classier pure T-Tip in mined. No offense to other company's attempts but Davis is the Man!!!, with the ultimate plan. No pressure David:laugh:
