Would this work for an e-cig?

Sitting here whiling away my morning, and saw this on QVC (don't hate on me) and thought, Ooooooh, I wonder if that would work for e-cigs!

Anything that holds a portable power supply and has some sort of safety feature (more the better) could be converted into a PV provided u replace it's one end with an atomizer inlet socket. So yes, that external cellphone charger will do; and so will any pocket flashlight!

Yes, as long as you check the output rating. I use asimilar one for charging my egos when I am out as long as I remember to bring my ego charger. If you have a passthrough, it should even be able to charge that too and you could even vape it while attached to the external battery. Look on Amazon ( portiable battery pack) as you can get them in larger capacity for less. Other brands are New Trent, Anker, PowerGen. There are also some that have two charging ports so you can also charge your cell and or tablet at the same time. I even saw models that had a heating element so you could use it as a hand warmer. Thre is is even a model from one of the ecig makers that has the 510/ego connection built in although I am not sure if you can charge other items off of it.

Things like what you linked to Do Work. Just be forewarned that many Inexpensive ones Vastly Overestimate the Actual mAh.

I have 2- 2600mah portable power supplies (USB 5v-out) that charge via mini-USB or solar. Solar charging is hella less efficient than you'd like to assume, but functional, none the less. I'm acually in the process of gutting them for the internal Li-ion batts and converting them into a VW mod and converting the solar panels to be separate but functional if need-be.
