Would this work? (Martha Stewart - Cotton 65% Hemp 35% ) For Wicking?

Hello Everyone,

I just stopped by Michaels and purchased Cotton 65% / Hemp 35% yarn. Could this
be used for wicking? I have already boiled it 3 times and am waiting for it to dry out.
but I'm not sure if it would be safe to use. Could someone please guide me?

Yip, it should be fine. So long as it doesn't contain polyester or nylon (synthetic fibers) you should be good to go, also check out these threads and post your findings there too:

Organic cotton unbleached is better.

Thats the kind I use on my vivi Novas, boil it and then let the thread air dry for a day or so before you rebuild, otherwise you get a nasty muted flavor.
