How so? I've had no problems or glitches in any way since I've owned it. I have literally run it over with a car. Thing is a tank and the extra wattage is a plus. The only thing i wish was better was the ohm meter. It can be around .1-.2 off, but thats the ONLY flaw ive found
Oh and it can go down to .7 ohm. Do that on your precious provari :)

You can go down to .8 ohm on a Provari, what's your point? The VTR has the same power limitations as a Provari, and the voltage output can be off by .1 volts off while the Provari accuracy is .02 volts, so this argument is a fail as well. Keep trying.

AGAIN this level of accuracy is physically imposible to notice. it comes to MAYBE 3-4 degrees difference in the vape.

except you cannot set fractional differences which the chip is able to. Whats on your led screen is NOT exact. it is a rounded number. There is gonna be small decimals that you cannot see or change while the chip can.

Make up your mind... On one hand, you state that no one can tell when a VTR is .1 or .2 volts less accurate than A ProVari in it's voltage delivery and then turn around and talk about fractional differences of less than .1 volts when adjusting voltage in variable wattage mode

Let's see. I'm running a 1.8 ohm coll that I have set to 4.3 volts...that calclulates to 10.27 watts. Ok, So let's set 10 watts on a 1.8 coil shall we? 4.24 volts....Interesting....I am not supposed to be able to taste the difference between .1 or .2 volts, but somehow VW is better because it supposedly adjusts to 4.24 volts to make 10 watts instead of 4.3....

REALLY!!!!?????

Also, if you honestly believe that a VV/VW device that only adjusts in .1 volt increments in variable voltage mode, all of the sudden gets hyper accurate in VW mod and adjusts voltage to the .01 volt accuracy to hit it's target wattage, you really are misinformed.

Why do you think almost ALL of the graphs on a VW device show a variance of about .1 volt? Because that's the most granular the devices can adjust. So literally it doesn't matter if I set the device to 4.3 volts, or the mod set it to 4.3 volts. It got set to 4.3 volts. Not 4.24 volts.....Not that you can taste the difference right??? So what's the advantage of VW again.....????

i dont see your point. the fractional differneces in the ACCURACY are not noticable. the fractional differences on what you set it to could be noticed.

do a blindfold test with people who do not know what you are trying to prove and prove me wrong that the difference is noticeable

Don't care to try to prove anything to anyone here, kinda pointless really this being the internet and all. The only person I have to prove anything to vaping wise is myself. My experience matters to me and I buy what I think will work for me.

actually the whole point of this thread was to prove to another member the provari was worth the cost, which YOU have not.

not in the long run, but if you can, and you can, get a similar product in durability and quality for cheaper then why not??

Well I have been vaping for over 2 1/2 years and spent half that time trying what you are saying and guess what? If I had just bought a Provari when I first go into VV/VW mods I would have saved a bundle of money. I have owned lavatubes, vamos, mvps and none of them come close to the Provari.

why do you think this though?

please explain this difference in PWM and how it affects anything.

Nope, we've already provided you with plenty of documented evidence, and plenty of people have already testified that they can tell the difference. We could could be here all night debating this issue, and you could still say it doesn't affect anything because in your experience you could't tell.

That's ok. You're inability to tell the difference doesn't make you inferior to us. Our ability to tell the difference doesn't make us superior to you. We love the Provari because it gives us a better & smoother vaping experience. We "get it", "you don't". Please accept that is the way it is.

You love your VTR. Great. Fantastic. We're happy FOR YOU. We love our Provari's.

oh "you get it" end of discussion?
great FACTS there
thats not SUBJECTIVE at all.

No. Even in the best mod factories there are flaws. Even if they are 99.5% perfect, .5% of them will be flawed. You could have gotten unlucky and IMO you can fix almost any mod, regulated or not, with enough practice and tinkering. And the only mod I've had that actually went bad to the point of not being able to fix it was a vamo. Neither one of the two i had lasted more than 6 months
Well I bought 3, yes 3, V2 lavatubes from Volcano and guess what? I had the same problem with all 3, device shutting off and the 82 error code, this is when I finally purchase my first Provari and have been happy ever since.

Yeah, it does. That's kind of what "keeping pace with technology" means. I could see the price tag of the ProVari if they were keeping pace with technology instead of just sitting back and selling collector edition color schemes, but new colors is just completely silly when you look around at what has come out over the last year and a half.

Its a simple fact of mechanics that the more moving parts something has and the more complicated the design, the more apt it is to fail.

I've had the exact same Vamo v5 for 9 months now which I bought two weeks after getting a Vamo v2. Not even a hitch in it's performance. I did have an issue with a Vivi Nova tank leaking all over it when I first got it. I left it on with the tank on it, so the juice got in it's inerds. It powered down spontaneously for a few days, which caused me to order another Vamo v5(For $35) but it started working before the other one arrived. I already had a Vamo v2 I got for $30 as a spare as well. So, right now I have two Vamo v5s and a Vamo v2. Total price on those is $100. All of which still work. I can still get two more Vamo v5 to fill the slots in my Legion of Vamos and still not have hit the $180 price tag of a ProVari.

But, instead of those two additional Vamo v5s, I got an R80 mechanical pipe mod for $25. I got a copper nemesis clone for $25. I also got a 14500 based Novice clone for $20. So, I have three vamos and three mechanical mods for less than the cost of that ProVari. I'm really not too worried about being left high and dry at this point.

Also, that scare tactic about having to go back to traditional cigarettes? Carton of cigarettes is $70, the cost of two Vamo v5s. If your ProVari craps out, what are you going to do?

Meanwhile, I have a sub ohm build. It's nice. I really like it. Same price tag mod-wise.

And most people know a Posilock Pulley Puller beats the old school stuff, innovation!

I am glad you have had good fortunes with your Vamos, a lot of people including me have not, and if you think the only mod I have is a Provari you are sadly mistaken, I have 4. :D

What???!!!

So I set a VTR at 4.3 volts and it fires at 4.4 Compared to a Provari set to 4.3 and firing at 4.3. Difference .1 volt ACCORDING TO YOU NOT NOTICEABLE....
I set a ProVari at 4.3 volts to achieve 10 watts and I get 10.27 watts. You set the VTR to 10 watts and assuming you are correct, it adjusts for fractional differences and hits 10 watts exactly by adjusting to....4.24 volts. Difference.... .06 volts BUT ACCORDING TO YOU THAT IS NOTICEABLE?

It's getting late son, your critical thinking skills have turned to soup.

it is unnoticeable
you cannot honestly tell me you can literally taste the difference in such small increments
you can see it on the meter yes
but can you taste it? no

IF not when it stops working. And you can take any mod apart if you spend enough time messing with them. Most of the time is a regulated mod stops working there is a short. Fix the short and problem solved

How many vapers do you think want to or can do this? Answer: Not many.

Clearly you missed the point of the thread. It was not to PROVE anything.

The purpose of the post was to get peoples OPINION. Would you spend the extra cash on a ProVari yes or No. We don't have to prove anything. Each person puts a different value on things.

For you it's not worth the extra scratch...no problem.

For me it is...still no problem.

We are still in subjective territory. But when you attempt to backup your statement with inaccurate statements, like the VTR is cheaper and better.....with absolutely no evidence to back it up....

Ultimately the OP will make up his own mind and will have his own reasons. Reasons which are not yours and not mine, but his.
