Indeed...what is the difference? Wow was a new flavor line introduced at the time when V4L carried 2 lines of Cartos, Premiums and Cool Carts. Recently V4L renamed the Premiums, Wow Cartos. I actually brought this up not too long ago because they advertise 3 Cartos, 1 of which is a dollar or so less than the Wows or Cool Carts. I believe those are the old-school hard cap cartos that are similar to Wow/Premiums, just the earlier version.

Oh so the ones I am use to are just renamed WOW now, ok thanks.

I think there's a big difference in the taste. The WOW cartos taste much better than the standard ones did; the flavors are much better. The coffee, mango, black licorice and peppermint flavors in particular are delicious!

No - I think they still carry some of the old regular standard cartos - These do have a hard cap & also inner ring, but not glued in and really are not similar to the WOW/Premiums. When the premium cartos were 1st introduced, there were 2 types - the one with higher resistance had single piece glued in caps. These are now called CoolCarts and come with the soft cap. The 2nd premium had a lower resistance and a soft easily removable cap. These are now called WOW cartos.

To answer the OP, the WOW cartos have lower resistance than the regular and so burn warmer. Personally, I prefer them over the regular ones on the 3.7 volt V4L battery. It kind of simulates high volt vaping.

I agree. I have been using the WOW's on my PT and all I can say is WOW. The carts I had used before were prefilled but of the standard version and I thought the vapor production was low overall with them. I am getting good vapor and throat hit from WOW's with any juice I use. I have seen reviews where a particular juice was rated low for vapor and my experience is completely different. Spend the buck, it's worth it.

V4L has actually faded out the standard carts. The three types of carts now available are CoolCarts, Premium Carts, and WOW carts. All 3 are a little different. The Cool carts draw "cool", as in cold, compared to the premium and WOW. They are also longer and hold more juice than the premium and WOW carts. Premium is in the middle. They are warm and most often produce pretty good vapor. The WOW carts are very warm, strong flavor, and produce a lot of vapor. There is a flavor difference between the Premium and the WOW carts. For example, Premium Smilin Special Menthol has a different flavor/taste than the WOW Smilin Special Menthol. All three of these carts have the soft removable cap on the ends which make it easier to fill and refill carts.

RNPic,
You bring up a good point. Yes, there is a difference between Premium Juice & Wow juice & outside of the 5 ml. bottles are the only 2 types of juices offered.
However, I think there is some confusion about the cartos and this is because V4L still has some "older' stock along with the newer inventory.

Standard, regular cartos: It does appear that these are being phased out as they are no longer available in the blank carto section. And not many left in the prefilled styles anymore - maybe just the VG cartos & Tobacco Shop Sampler (6.95 price) & just a few others that can only be found on the website by entering the flavor in the search box.

Premium Cartos: You will only find this designation in some of the prefilled (not the blanks). There are actually 2 different types of cartomizers in this category.

One is the higher-resistance (newer varieties now labeled Coolcarts). I know that Hilton and the Menthol Sampler pack 2 are this type & still have the glued-in hard caps. The Smilin Menthol Premium that I have are this type too, but have the soft removable cap. I guess it would be helpful if all of this type were labeled coolcarts on the website. This type of premium, just like the CoolCarts, are a little longer, have a smaller hole at the battery end, and do not have the "plug" for this hole.

And then there are some "Premiums" that have the lower resistance with a soft removable cap, like Bananas Foster and Caramel Apple. The cartos themselves are just like the WOW cartos (although different juice inside) and the blanks for this type were first called premium & then changed to Wow. These cartos come with a plug in the battery end. When I look at the stock updates for cartos, I only see updates for WOW or Coolcarts. So perhaps the premiums with lower resistance are not being restocked, but the ones still in stock are called premium because they contain "premium" juice rather than Wow juice.

It does get confusing even if you were here when the 2 types of premium cartos were first introduced, lol. I think it would be tremendous if V4L could somehow describe each carto more fully on the website. When the carto is labeled coolcart or Wow, you know what you're getting. The problem is with the "premium" designation because while it has the premium juice, it could be either the higher OR lower resistance type carto.
