Feel free to move this if this is in the wrong spot mods!

Just wanted to announce that I got my first cartotanks in and OMG FLAVOR!! It's no joke that clearos mute flavor. Thankfully, I was able to use them right away, at work, because a juice order came in at the same time. These carto tanks are phenominal, and the customer service at IBTanked is superb! They didn't have the drip tip I ordered due to some computer error, so not only did they say they would refund me that money, they gave me another one that matched the tank! This, handwritten into a note included with my order. I am beyond pleased. Thank you to everyone who recommended them! My clearos are all going to my hubby now. Well, not ALL of them... A girls gotta keep some of her shiny things, although I'm sure none of my clearos match the paint job on my new cartotanks.

I remember my first draw on a carto. :) Okay, it wasn't that long ago. Good, huh? 50/50 on a carto is a perfect balance of flavor and vapor for me.

I'm truly surprised at the difference in flavor. It almost too much on a couple of my previous favorites. Swagger from Pink Spot I thought was great in a Mini Protank. It's almost TOO much flavor in a cartotank. I regret the two flavors I choose the far. Should have waited until I was home so I could have filled them up with juice from the standard. There are aspects of the flavors I have from them that I KNOW I'm missing when vaping from a clearo.

Just throwing this in.

I have been a happy carto tanker for 4+ months. I carry around 8 tanks with me at all times.

I was starting to get a bit frustrated with cartos gumming up quickly and flavors that were great at one time now tasting kinda blah. Also got a bit miffed at the inconsistency of cartos from the 3 main vendors. The last batch I got from Ikenvape were a bit of a disappointment.

Maybe it's just a matter of me getting too used to them, but I began to look for other systems. Systems that don't involve rebuilding. I just don't have the time or the desire for that level of fiddling.

On the classies here someone was selling a mess of Aspire BDCs, with a bunch of new and slightly used coils, for the price of one new Aspire. So I jumped.

These are all Aspire Vivi Nova Pyrex BDCs.

I was not expecting much after being disappointed with the Kanger style bottom clearos. But wow, these are pretty good!

Lots of vapor. A bit cooler than cartos. The taste is FULL flavor, but different than cartos. I can't say the taste is better but it is different. In complex flavors, different flavor notes come out compared to cartos.

I was using these Aspires at carto wattage and was pleased. It was pointed out to me that these are dual coils and can be run at higher voltages. Today I put in a fresh 1.8 ohm dual coil and started at 4.5 volts, that's 12.8 watts!!! I usually ran cartos from 7.5-8 watts. It worked just fine. Ran it up to 5 volts, I had never ran my mod that high, and it was still good, no, great.

I am kinda amazed.

I am keeping and will continue to use my carto tanks, but I have a new atty to add to my choices.

Carto tanks rule.
Aspires seem to co-rule.

Yep, cartos and IBT are where it's at! 6 IBT's in the collection now, and I want more! My Protanks are all in the drawer of no return now. ;)

I gave my husband ALL of the Mini Protank II's I had. He pretty much only uses those, as for some reason they don't gurgle like the other bottom coil type clearos we have and they don't leak like the top coil clearos. He also enjoys cooler vapes.

I'm pretty happy with the iClear 30b and the iClear 16b clearos I have as well. Bottom, dual coils. They gurgle a bit when they get low on fluid, but aside from that I haven't had any problems. Between those, and the 3 cartotanks I got, I'm pretty much set on toppers I think. I don't have the kind of time to devote to rebuilding coils, so this will have to be it unless a) something new and better comes out or b) I get a job closer to home. I love working with my hands and tinkering, so I'd like to get into rebuilding, but I barely have time to clean out clearos, let alone build coils. Plus, I need to do all the maintenance on my husband's stuff.

Never mind what I said here about the Aspires. This morning they all taste terrible and burnt, at any voltage.

Really perplexed.

Refilling all my carto tanks.

carts are great but no match for a proper built RDA/RBA. The carts make a happy median lane vape. If take them apart they teach you how to build proper coils. Normally everyone I have vaped builds are too huge and mute flavor, notice the smaller diameter micro wicks create more flavor and vapor. I use a 1/16 as my enormous sized coil and a needle for normal coils and a smaller needle for nano micro coils which I put in homemade carts that are amazing. My homemade carts are better than HH357's or a Cisco spec I use ss mesh as a wick, uber hard and rewarding..
