you need to have a certain amount of posts to be able to make a new thread. I don't know the exact #.
You may be allergic to PG which is in a lot of juices, try to find refills that are VG or PG reduced (those use a pg36 or smoethign which solves the allergic reaction for some.) you might want to order some refill liquid from a quality vendor.. you can try vapor renu, tasty vapor, vapor bomb, backwoods brew, there are many many out there. my wife is allergic to PG as well, so I know it's fairly common for some people.

Thank you for your reply mrjaguar. I will order vapor online, and maybe it will also solve my problem with getting very few smokes, or vapes' from my e cig.
I also never know if you are supposed to clean the vaporiser after every recharge, so if anyone knows about this, I would be happy to learn this. Janscot.

Actually, I've heard the mouth ulcers thing is frequently connected with *quitting* smoking. Smoking changes the PH balance in your mouth and quitting can disrupt things. Somewhere around here is a bunch of info on the symptoms of quitting smoking, and I'm 99% sure mouth ulcers and/or bleeding gums is one of them. Can't recall where around ECF it is though...

janscot, I had the same throat issues. I was inhaling like a cigarette, not pulling into my mouth and then inhaling. It made a world of difference. Others suggested the allergy/sensitivity thing. It wasnt so. Just me.
Thank you pamdane. my throat issue has cleared up. I just have issues as always with the refill cartridges only lasting a few hours. Intellicig were not at all helpful. Ho Hum. Janscot

Janscot,

Hey and welcome. First and foremost the cartridges or cartomizers never last as long as advertised. Nor does the battery charge. It depends on how much you use it. From my own experience I use it quite a bit and a 1ml cartridge lasts me about 6 hours. A 1.8ml cartridge usually lasts me a whole day and even a little bit the morning after. They make larger cartridges for most styles of cigs but I know very little about your intellicig. Refilling helps, and lets you experience a great deal of flavors.

Good luck, and keep it up!

i think that intellicig refill cartridges are half empty, i get a few hours only of using the vape. i think the shop which sells them don't realise they are being cheated, like i am. I got no help from intelllicig contact person whom i emailed, they could not even spell properly. janscot

Do yourself a huge favor and take a look at either the Volt (smokelessimage.com) or the Bloog (bloogplanet.com).

I just switched to a ego-t cause I was using refilled blu cartos on a 510 and having to refill them about every 2 hours. I got the ego today and I seem to go through the juice just as fast but the tank system makes it easier for me.

On a side note I noticed today that I was starting to get the ulcers. To me if it is a side effect of quitting smoking then I think of it as that it is a sign that I'm doing myself a good thing in the long run.

thanks to all who replied to my queries. I will try the e juice instead of the cartridges. I suppose it is a case of trial and error when you are new to e.cigs. I actually prefer them to 'real' cigs, so i get frustrated when i either get a short supply of cartridge time, or have to recharge every 2 hours, but i will keep trying! Again thanks to the nice people on this forum.

If you are getting frustrated with the frequent recharging, you are in the majority, and have two solid choices...
1) Get a Personal Charging Case (PCC) so you can charge batteries on the run
2) Get a bigger battery model, which of course will be bigger than a cigarette-sized model

I'd say the bigger battery is the biggest reason so many people move "up" from the cigarette-sized models.
There are a lot of other resasons as well, like using LR atomizers, but I think battery time is the main impetus.

One more thing, when the performance of the cartomizer degrades you can either clean it which is a whole other process or you can just buy another 5 pack of blank ones. I just buy new cartomizers and don't mess with the cleaning process. You can get 5 of them for about $10 or so and each one lasts about a week or so depending on how much you vape. I'm a fairly heavy vaporer and each one lasts me about a week....[/QUOT Thank you thinsen, Our cartridges cost 13 pounds for 5 cartridges, which is around $10 in your money. As each one lasts less than a day and I get half a day out of each cartridge, I feel it is a bit expensive. Actually it is more the annoyance of having to wait for it to re charge and the carry on of cleaning the vapouriser which is bothering me, but the price too is a factor. I think the juice might be more convenient and less costly. Janscot

Thank you for your reply Dc2. I am at the 'trial and error' stage with e cigs, so I will consider your advice seriously. Janscot

Thanks rinoaa, My mouth has cleared up now. The tank sysem seems to be an easier option, another one I will look into. Janscot
