I had to open my mouth about e-cigs and now I'm ordering a bunch of kits for family and will invite everyone over to pick up kit (j, ego's) as well as an instructional class on how to use them (I'm no expert but at 3 weeks I think I know enough to get everyone started)
The frustrating part will be the juices and will they be happy with my selections

The 5 smokers currently use

1. Marlboro red
2. Newport
3. Marlboro lights
4. Benson and hedges menthol
5. tobacco anything dirt cheap

should I start them all on ALL PG so they get that throat hit. First impressions are important!

And the nicotine strength? Oh brother, where to start. I myself a 1ppd smoker got woozy on 24 mg and even vaping 11 mg might be too much as I love vaping and do it a lot

Any former smokers find a juice that replicated any of the brands listed above? Thanks for any input.

Its really hard to say what they will like to vape .. when I first started, I wanted menthol that tasted like Misty Ultra Light Menthol .. then I discovered flavors and I haven't touched the menthol since. I think in your shoes, I would buy some sample size bottles of the different kinds, tobacco, flavors, sweet, sour, savory ... then a few extra boxes of cartos and fill up one of each for them to try when they pick up the kit .. then you can take orders for juice or tell them where to buy more. Be sure to check out the Classifieds and swaps for people selling large lots of juice .. great way to save some money and get a lot of samples.

Good Luck!

I was a Virginia Slim Menthol Lights smoker -- so I ordered the "Menthol" ejuice. It was ok, and I vaped it exclusively for about a month. However, I found the menthol flavor was just too strong to vape everyday -- weird huh! Anyways, I tried something called USA mix - but it was too tobacco-y. I found a juice called NuPort, but didn't like it either - so I tried other flavors! I can tell you I absolutely love Cotton Candy and Bubblegum!

However, I did find a few nice menthol juices from Gourmet Vapor -
1 is called "A Tasty Menthol Cigarette"
2 is called "Ken's Menthol Light"
3 is called "Menthol Cigarette"

My favorite is #1.

I hope that helps :)

Gourmet vapor has a sale going on which will allow you to get lots of small 5 ml for cheap and they have tons of flavors and you can get them however you want them as well as nic levels, code in another thread is WILSON. Good luck, I tried to convert some to, some took some didn't but you can't help them if you don't try.

Thanks to all the responses and suggestions! Yeah, I think I'm just getting worked up about it all. I got 3 ego kits, everyone a drip tip/blank carto and picked up 4 small bottles (PG from the same site that sold the kits) plus I have my existing stash of non tobacco flavors they could try. I will advise them that there are much better juices from folks who only make juice and about the ratios of PG/VG and its benefits. I'll let them know that they can increase the levels of nicotine beyond the 6 mg I picked up (I'm just being cautious because I have to assume they will still continue to smoke analogs with it)
They will be paying me back...I hope! I'm only paying for a brother who is broke and is smoking those cheap cigar cigarettes.
Hope all goes well! I will make sure all batteries are charged and atty primer fluid blown out. Since 2 couples are sharing a kit I better tell them to get their own charger or there will be some trouble!

I'd do this. ^^

Have a variety on hand of various types of flavors. People will enjoy sampling them. If you can get some drip tips that go with their equipment it might make sampling a bit easier.
