This weekend I ordered a variety of 6ml juice bottles. Very fast delivery, and just like everyone says there was a 'something extra' in there. I think I actually got 3 somethings extra! Here is what I got and a simple overall rating.

USA Tobacco Mint (HV): A+
Grape Ape: A
French Vanilla Coffee (HV): B
Watermelon Lung juice: A
Sleepy Time Lung juice: B+
Pear Lung Juice: untested as of yet
Dr. Pepper: A++

Lets talk about that Dr. Pepper. First amazing flavor and overall quality, hands down. I do have an issue with it, however. I think it is incorrectly labeled. While I was initially fooled to think it was Dr. Pepper I was tasting, shortly after I realized I got hosed. Or did I? The incriminating factor here is a slight taste and aroma of anise in the finish. A negligible amount not worth mentioning? Hardly! In fact this makes it better, not because I like anise flavor (I don't, really) but because it causes a transformation from Dr. Pepper, a run of the mill, big brand, cola to a peculiar and rare soft drink called Moxie. Its unmistakable and anyone who has had the pleasure, or misfortune, to try Moxie will agree that this is the most accurate reproduction of any flavor that has been attempted everywhere! Its closer to the real thing than Grape Ape is to Grape! So, Drew slap a new orange label on this stuff and call it Moxie! If you are not convinced buy some of this juice from Drew and then try to find a bottle of Moxie to compare it to.

Great stuff, so glad I found it! Thanks Drew!

Moxie headquarters is my hometown of Lisbon, Maine. It is the oldest cola still bottled in the US. You can find it in any store in Maine and many across New England. It becomes harder to find as you get further away. Chains like Beverages and More (BevMo) that carry 'exotic' beverages will usually have it in stock or will include it on the next order if requested. If you really want to get info on Moxie you can call Frank Ancetti at the Kennebec Fruit Store, the unofficial Moxie Headquarters. He is THE Moxie historian and I believe he ships world wide. I highly recommend the T-shirts as well :D
