Hmm ... well, I'll keep playing with it them and try to draw down the charge a bit and see if it straightens out. Will be a drag though if it is this picky on a full charge all the time though. Glad to hear that you are using the Kangers with no issues, True. I love those babies. As far as the 'dimple' goes ... was just trying to find anything that might be the cause so glad to hear that probably isn't it either. Anyway, I know Tom and Adam will help me through this as well. In the meantime, will try to draw the charge down a bit and see if it comes right. Thanks all!!

Actually, that makes sense....seems like it does it to me immediately after pulling it off the charger.....a while later, it won't do it all day.

Thanks for the info....I'm not going to bother if there's quality control issues and circuit protection tripping all the time. Seems like a mess to me.

Maybe I'll just get an Evo or something else.

I wouldn't say there are any problems with my 2.... like I said, it only happens maybe once or twice after pulling off the charger then never again.

The ability to change voltage in this cheap of a battery is super nice.

I've had it happen a few times with mine as well with no rhyme nor reason (even with the standard stock tanks & atty). It doesn't bother me that much as I've been mostly using the LR bridgeless atty on the low setting anyways now.

The new one I got today isn't resetting at all. Charged 'er up first and popped a Boge LR on and it is good as gold. I'm gonna order up a couple more in fact. @ ~$20 each it's a no brainer, and the taste at 3.7 volts or even 4.2 is amazingly amazing! Can't wait to try a 5 or 6 volt device with a higher resistance carto/atty. Must acquire more stuff...

Hmmm I have one of these but in 650mah, I've had no issues at all as you describe and I always use kangers on it. Though its from another company and possibly another manufacturer - but I doubt it - they're identical just different mahs. Sounds like a defect to me - since some others are having a similar issue it may reflect the quality of the manufacturer and the product. Of course it has to be a defect - what company would INTEND on the item resetting itself? Sounds very inconvenient. I have one coming in the mail I ordered the other night, I definitley hope it doesn't have the same issue, that would drive me crazy. Let us know what transpires with your batt, I'll update this thread after some time with my new one to let others know if this is a prevalent quality control issue.

Also, are you using the visions clearomizer on the ego vv? At 2.8 ohms I need to use it on 5 volts or higher (with my mod) and it works great, at 3.7 though, no way. There are lr versions of it out there, I've seen them with another canadian company. I've used the dual coil tanks with lr cartos on the ego vv though and that works really really good, its like using a kanger that you never have to top off, definitely my new vaping setup, try it if you like the kangers and want to have a set up you can leave for all day.

Well, after playing with it for a couple of hours, my VV has quit resetting itself. Am hoping this isn't going to be a regular occurrence every time I charge it up though. However, really loving having some variable voltage capability now. I just know that one day ... one day I am going to find myself seriously eyeballing something like that LT. Have to wait for at least one of my three batteries to die on me before then though.
Thanks for the tip on the dual coil tanks. I'm just one of those people, though, who don't really like the look of something that big sitting on top of my ecig. If I didn't like the kangers so much it might be a different story but I really don't mind topping them up.
Right now still vaping on that V510 mini-mee Extreme and loving it. But holy vape! I cannot believe the way it goes through juice! I swear to God there must be a leak into a virtual world somewhere that it is going! It's a great carto, though.
