Hehehe if you mean beer / scotch combo here we call that "concrete" (as sidewalk building material), analogy is probably that after too many you will sure hug a sidewalk LOL
Try bottle of Jack Daniels (1L) and if that hangover proof stays I want some drinking tips my friend haha. Several weeks ago I had such a night and used Halo Midnight Apple which is AWESOME e-liquid... man I am still getting weird feeling when I smell it now
Im a serious whiskey drinker, not too mad on the old sour mash, but I've heard that JD has improved steadily over the past few years- I'll give it another go in the pub. If you're into your American whiskeys, my favourites are 1) Nob Creek, 2) Buffalo Trace and 3) Maker's Mark. That said I have to point out that Four Roses Yellow label is incredible value since Jim Routledge took over, considering you can play under 1000yen a bottle here you can't really go wrong with that straight bourbon in particular. As far as the hangovers go I do have some worthwhile advice:
1) Drink as much Aquarius or Pocori sweat as you can before bed and when you wake up in the middle of the night. The formula is based on ORT (oral rehydration therapy) which was originally conceived as a way of keeping heavily dehydrated cholera patients alive for just enough time for their immune systems to fight the infection off. Of course the fact that it rehydrates you so well meant that it became useful for athletes and of course hangovers. I keep a huge bottle by my bed after a night on the tiles, whenever I wake up I glug as much of it as I can, then fall back asleep - seems to do the trick.
2) Protein slows down the absorption of alcohol into the blood stream, which is the basis of the idea that if you eat something before you go out, you won't get as drunk. Carbohydrates won't however, so stick to otsumami - beans, cheese, fish or dried meat when you're out boozing, it will help. I usually grab a pack of beef jerky on my way home from the boozer.
3) Phosphoric acid is mainstay in over-the-counter anti-nausea medication, there are also very high levels present in cola (remember the cleaning a coin trick from school?) and even higher levels in diet or zero calorie cola. Drinking this in the morning should do away with the nausea pretty quickly.
