I"ve had my old goat bottom feeder for a few weeks now and just learned how to use it! I was a dripper for months so I figured I knew what I was doing. It leaked.. all over the place. I had juice coming out the bottom and the on/off switch. I had to carry a tissue just to keep it wiped off. That got tiring so I quit using it.

I got it out again today and tried again. Success! I was flooding it. Since it had a catch cup attatched around the atty connection I figured that if I flooded it, it would just go into the catch cup and be sucked back in. I've learned now to just squeeze once for about 5 vapes and I'm finally not flooding it! I am so happy! I was so disappointed when it didn't work and I couldn't figure out why. A little really does go a long way!

There seems to be a really fine line between too much and not enough!

i read somewhere they mentioned about squeeze the bottle 3-5 time each time u want to vape.. its like the direct dripping method basically, u cant drip more that 3 times or the bottom will leak..

good to hear u manage to find the solution of ur problems.. =D happy vaping..

I don't know about the REO but with the OG, 3 squeezes is way too much! That was my problem.. one squeeze gets me a few great vapes and no leaking. Now I can't put it down to go to bed!

i tried my friend's REO mini and found out that it has this 'reservoir' around the bottom of atty.. this allow the juice to flow in back to the bottle which i think is a really cool system.. u can try getting one.. =D

That's not how a Reo works. You would use it like how you would use your OG or almost any other bottom feeder. Just one squeeze of the bottle every five hits. The only differences is that a REO won't break when you drop it and will last a lifetime. Also, it's all mechanical and constructed very nicely compared to all the wires and epoxy you would see in the guts of some bottom feeders.

Lastly, it really does perform on another level. Which requires you to own one yourself before you truly know what your missing.

Those new Vapage hybrid attys for bottom-feeders have a kinda reflow system that helps recovering the overflow. You might want to give them a drive. I've liked mine fairly well so far. They're available from Clouds of Vapor. -Magnus

Interesting.. like alll good things, they dont have any in stock.

The vapage Vmod looks interesting.. I wonder how it compares to the REO, it's almost half the price. I'm sure the REO's are nice and all but if I can get the same performance out of something that costs half the price, that would be nice. But then again, my OG bottom feeder was/is only $30 compared to $75 for the vmod and $139 for the REO. Are they really worth the extra money?

I started with an OG 3.7v feeder and it was great. I bought it so I could try bottom feeding before I dropped some serious cash. The Reo Grand really is on a whole new level. It is all mechanical (no wires) which keeps things simple (less points of failure).

I had similar issues with my OG occasionally getting a little messy. The REO Grand has a much larger catch cup and I haven't spilled a drop in the 6 weeks I've had it. The best part of owning a Reo is the community here on ECF. Rob (the reo builder himself) is very active in his community as well as scores of wonderful and very helpful people. Rob also stands behind his products 100%. I got my grand in a trade on ECF and he still was very helpful to me giving advice and offering to fix/repair my grand if it ever needed it for just the cost of shipping and parts.

I have truely experienced hassle free vaping for the last 6 weeks. Absolutely amazing and I couldn't recomend a Reo enough.

I looked at the Vmod and saw this "The VMOD has a 510 thread which means that any 510 will fit it. Although, only our Silo is compatible for use with the feed system." I cant say I would like being forced to use their proprietary atty to use it as a feeder, I love my 306 atties way too much.

The system does help recovering the overflow but I wasn't happy with the performance waaaay to airy of a draw. I'll stick with my Cisco 1.5Ω attys. I did get the first ones sold from COV and maybe a bad batch but still not about to waste anymore money to find out. Especially after one of the prototypes was given to me that work fantastic! Go figure....

Uhhh, the REO doesn't leak. Period.

In mods, as in most things, you get what you pay for.

Move on. Remember the K.I.S.S. principle.
