Received my Ego last Thursday. Have smoked 5 analogs since then. Went to the doc today for a check up. He said for the first time since he has seen me (14 yrs) there is no wheezing. This is amazing, I am healing in less than a week. I never thought I could give up smokes and I have tried every quit tactic known including patch, inhaler, gum, drugs, and everything in between. To anyone starting, it works. I cannot believe that anyone would think of banning this. It is surely saving lives and I have no problem being a guinea pig! I am 51 and have smoked since I was 12, I was truly running out of time. Thanks to everyone here who helped me get started and has helped me along the way. This place is awesome and I really appreciate all the quick responses and support.

Thanks all. I did tell the doc I was vaping. He has noted success among his patients with vaping compared to other methods. He thinks it gives the smoker the same feeling (th) and takes care of what we were all use to (hand to mouth, something to hold, the inhale, the vapor.) He asked lots of questions, gave me a heads up and told me to keep it up. I told him about this site and ordered some of the business cards which I will deliver to his office when they arrive. It would be great if we could all get our docs on board! There was no reason during this visit for him to listen to my breath sounds, he was just curious.

Way to go, and yes this does work to get you off tobacco 100%. I too had tried gum, mints, pills, patches, inhalers, homeopathic, as seen on TV, you name it all with NO sucess and ending eac try to quit with smoking more analogs than before. In the end I smoked 3-4 packs a day for the 4-5 years before I found out about vaping. Now, I'm tobacco free for 13 months and wouldn't think of going back to analogs.
