I just started using an e-cig late last week and had to stop using it today. I've found my mouth feeling raw and sore. When brushing my teeth, I get gum bleeding. Just happened to have a dentist appointment today and asked him about it. He checked my mouth and said things were pretty much inflamed. He gave me some stuff to help it heal and suggested I give it another try after things heal but to start out slowly. Using the device, I was able to reduce my smoking by a large factor in just a couple days and would like to go back to the e-cig. Anybody else have this problem and what did you do about it? I am using the Screwdriver.

Thanks for any help anyone can pass along.

Soreness of mouth is common, very common in people who have given up smoking - although you say you have just cut down atm, not quit entirely.
This will go. You may be stuck with it for a few days though. Make sure when you vape your don't have the machine pointed at the same place all the time inside your mouth, (I found this helpful I have no scientific evidence it works)also make sure you drink A LOT more.
Keep your mouth wet and use whatever medications you have to relieve soreness.
I used some gum cream - my soreness was on the roof of my mouth but it worked there fine.
Try vaping more slowly and keep the mouthpiece from staying in one spot only.
The problem for me has not re-ocurrred.

I am also having some minor irritation. I am considering adding some straight VG to help even it out, the soreness is in my throat, though... even though I am not getting much TH and it is very inconsistant right now. I guess I just cant figure out how to hit the gosh darn thing! Frustrating having to turn a 7 year habit into a whole new thing.

I had that for a couple of days when I first started but I also was overfilling and more than once got some liquid in my mouth. Now that I have gotten the filling part down I haven't had a problem since then.

Good luck and I'm sure you will just adjust given time.

I'm having the same problem. I also got some juice in my mouth, I believe from overfilling. I'm using 100% PG at 14 mg. Gums are sore along the lower front gumline. I'm glad to hear that this should pass.
