Swore that I was going to quit when they hit $10 a carton. What was that, the eighties, lol. Absolutely when they hit $30!
What chased me here was more the combo of uncertain employment and $50.

Think I seen a sign say they were $10.50 a pack here in Cook County. They were around $80ish a carton when I quit but I always drove 10 minutes to the next county over (DuPage) to get them for around $60 a carton. I was buying 2 cartons about every 8-10 days. Man, I don't miss that at all.

Try Australia, when I quit 3 1/2 years ago, a pack of my 50 was $42AUD, you had to sell a lung to buy a carton.

Its 3.73 for a pack of the cheapest I know in Florida but Marlboro will cost you 7.

Not worth it. Especially when you get into building and DIY juice.

50g pack of ryo tobacco and papers cost $74 here now.
Before I quit a pack would last me 7 days @10-16 cigs a day.
Most of my life I smoked 20+ ryo cigs a day. It was only in the final 2-3yrs where I got down to 10 or so a day, depending on anger/frustration/havin a good time/what ever event called for a cig.
I can by a good solid vape device, coils and juice a week for the cost of what it cost me to smoke a week

The CARTON of Winfield cigarettes for $218 is 180 cigs.....not 200 as a carton used to be.

When I started smoking cigs were 35 cents a pack at gas stations. When I quit in 2009 I was paying $36 a carton or about $5 if you bought a single pack.

I can make lots of juice for $36.
